There’s no question that Cala Jondal is one of Ibiza’s most exclusive and trendiest beaches. Given its world-famous beach clubs, high-end restaurants and a general air of opulence, it’s no surprise that it’s such a hit with celebrities.
Situated on the south-west coast of Ibiza, just 25 minutes by car from Ibiza Town or 10 minutes from the airport, Cala Jondal is set in a secluded bay, overlooked by pine-covered hills, rocky red cliffs, and deluxe villas.
The beach is home to Blue Marlin Ibiza, a VIP beach club with live DJ sessions, its quiet neighbour, the Mediterranean restaurant Yemenjá and the upmarket restaurant, simply known as 'Jondal', which is run by renowned head chef Rafael Zafra.
It also has excellent facilities, including massage areas and beach boutiques.
Thanks to the many crafts that deliver succulent food and drinks from the beach's restaurants to the superyachts moored there during the day and evening and also ferry clients back and forth, it’s hugely popular with Ibiza’s distinguished “wet set.”
Cala Jondal is a pebbly beach, but when it comes to having a dip in its crystal-clear waters, you’ll find the beach clubs have made access easy thanks to building up sandy banks with little bridges or ramps.
