Not even the unusually grey clouds cast over Ibiza in the latter half of the weekend, put a damper on Ibiza's opening weekend. Fear not, the forecast for weekend number two on Ibiza is: sun shining with a chance of stumbling into some of the best parties on the planet!
As clubs continue to open in the coming weeks and fill-out midweek schedules, for now, all attention lands on the weekends.
Here are just some of the huge events taking place over the coming days.
O Beach
San Antonio glam spot O Beach kick-off the weekend with its official Opening Party on Friday 3 May following last weekend's soft launch events. The bad news is, if you haven't got your ticket already, you've missed out. Both beds and general admission are sold out.
So then, alternatives...
London outfit Jack Your Body makes a splash on Saturday as it returns for the first of two summer parties. Brandon Block, Soul Avengerz, Ainsley May and more, are on hand from 13:00 with the soulful sounds of House and Disco.
24 hours later, it's over to dancefloor temptress SIN Sundays. Expect daring acrobats, a fun-first attitude and a horn-donning roster of DJs and live percussionists.
Ibiza Rocks Opening Party
Sticking in San Antonio, "home of the pool party" Ibiza Rocks goes all-out at its own Opening Party on Saturday 4 May. Irish singer-songwriter Jazzy (above) headlines with a stunning live performance where she'll combine DJing and singing.
Enlisting an all-star, all-female cast to join her, Jazzy recruits ESSEL, Jen Payne and Kayleigh Glynn as the sizzling selectors charged with providing sun-soaked beats from doors open.
Beforehand, Switch Disco present Ibiza Anthems opening party takes place on Friday and after, Soundcloud Presents opening party is on Sunday.
ANTS opening party | Day & Night Edition | USHUAÏA & HÏ IBIZA
The ANTS colony returns this Saturday for what is fast becoming island tradition, announcing its arrival with a day-to-night party marathon.
Starting in open-air playground Ushuaïa from 15:00, supreme names of the underground unite. They include Andrea Oliva b2b Nic Fanciulli, HoneyLuv, Chelina Manuhutu and Ushuaïa favourite Paul Kalkbrenner (live).
Come 23:00, the party switches across the road to sister club Hï Ibiza. There it goes into the early hours of the morning with ARTBAT, Franky Wah and Mau P in The Theatre. In the Club Room, UK starlets Fleur Shore, Mason Collective and AJ Christou drop rhythmic grooves.

Glitterbox opening party | Hï Ibiza
Flamboyant fiesta Glitterbox parades back into Sunday nights at Hï Ibiza for another summer of Disco-lovin' on one of our most inclusive dancefloors.
For the 5 May curtain-raiser, Groove Armada drop in for one of their high-energy DJ sets. The megastar names continue with Horse Meat Disco and Chicago House veteran mixer Derrick Carter also on the bill, fulfilling Glitterbox's commitment to the LGBTQIA community.
As for the Wild Corner, with Fat Tony and Melon Bomb on hand, it's about to get down right groovy!
Franky Rizardo presents FLOW | Pacha
Amongst the big-hitters locked in for Pacha's pre-season programme is Franky Rizardo presents Flow on Sunday 5 May.
Born from his popular radio show, Flow is the manifestation of Rizardo's captivating House and Techno fusion, now set to debut on the White Isle. Hand-picked DJs on the line-up include Ilario Alicante, Manda Moor and Keisgner.
Also set to dance under the cherries this weekend are Kölsch & Ida Engberg on Friday, while on Saturday Loco Dice goes all night long.
Space | Eden
After an emotional curtain-raiser, which even saw legendary founder Pepe Roselló in attendance, Space continues getting down to business every Friday night.
You can count on the highest calibre of electronic talent each week. Next up, House luminaries Roger Sanchez and Todd Terry are present, alongside Moxy Muzik boss Darius Syrossian, island favourite Clara Da Costa and Ben Rau.
Club Chinois
Located in illustrious Ibiza Marina, Club Chinois' decadent dancefloor has led the way in rolling out its 2024 plans with a run of pre-season parties and an official Grand Opening Party last Sunday.
Easing into the weekend, Deep House enchanters Birds Of Mind make a rare appearance for Beyond BOHO on Thursday 2 May. The party is an immediate roll-through from BOHO's first date of summer at Club Chinois' sister-venue, Beachouse.
In-house production Club Chinois Presents casts global Techno purveyor Patrice Baümel into the DJ booth on Friday for an explorative journey into the genre.
TRIP then returns to its Saturday slot. The summer roster proved an instant head turner for fans of Minimal and House. This week's line-up features Sweely (live), Move D and Willow, while the night is in conjunction with Picnic Records.
Akasha
Akasha, the northern hideaway of Ibiza's clubland located at Las Dalias, sets the bar high having been open all year round (closing only briefly in January) and now celebrates its summer programme.
On Friday, Super Sapiens presents In The Dark invites Gorje Hewek and Kadosh to join party host Luca Saporito, once of Audiofly.
Free-spirited fiesta Cosmic Pineapple hosts Sunday for its charity fundraiser for EarthPercent. Sure to stun in the intimate setting, House and Techno master Laurent Garnier headlines, making it no surprise that this is a sold out party. No tickets will be available on the door.
All the more reason to follow Akasha's line-ups closely with international names making increasing appearances as this glorious little bolthole, off the beaten track.
Boat parties
We're not done yet. It wouldn't be summer without boat parties. Whether you're setting off from San Antonio or Playa d'en Bossa, you're not short on choice.
Oceanbeat sails every day from Friday to Sunday, Aftersun Ibiza leaves dock on Friday and Sunday and Pukka Up jets off on Saturday afternoon with bundle upgrades available for those who really want to party.
