Shock waves are reverberating through Ibiza's clubland, as Ibiza Rocks has just unveiled the latest addition to its 2024 weekly line-up.
In an unprecedented development, BBC Radio 1, the UK's largest and most loved radio station, is set to move into Mondays at "the home of the pool party". Radio 1 Dance X Pool Party takes place from 3 June to 26 August.
Prepare yourself for an unforgettable roster featuring special guests, Radio 1 Dance DJs and the hottest Ibiza Rocks resident DJs. The line-up will feature Ibiza Rocks' favourites Alex Mills, Jazzy and Kelli-Leigh.
There's also headline sets to come from UK chart-toppers LF System and Jax Jones, who previously held his Snacks pool party at the venue. Other guests include D.O.D., Luudes, venbee, Billy Gillies and on-air talents Charlie Hedges and Connor Coates.
One date that especially catches our eye, is the 22 July with the House Gospel Choir. Essentially, it's a pretty peerless array of names.
The season closes with two Dance Anthems specials on 19 and 26 August.
While we're accustomed to experiencing the BBC Radio 1 Weekend as a once-a-summer treat, this year brings a longer-lasting delight. Radio 1's presence will grace the island for an extended period, with the residency including the weekend of the renowned weekender.
