Originally conceived in 1981, Flower Power is Ibiza's longest-running party by a considerable margin. You might think, therefore, that the grand ol' child of the flower revolution was stuck in her ways, but that's not the case. Pacha's flagship party is getting a face-lift.
For starters, it's being sworn into the most decorated night of the week on Saturdays.
That is a big promotion for a party that has skirted between Monday and Wednesday for the last two decades. Nobody does Saturday nights like Pacha.
It's glitz, it's glamour, it's name in flashing lights.
Secondly, across its 21 dates from 18 May to 5 October, Flower Power will flip between four themed episodes. These are:
Holi Ibiza
Embrace joy in the energy of the White Isle, where strangers become friends under the soft glow of twinkling lights and blossoming flowers. Let rhythmic beats and celebration uplift your spirits.
Army Of Flowers
Blossom with love, as you become part of a community united by the universal language of music and humanity. Dance the night away, connecting with fellow revellers through the shared passion for life and the transformative power of music.
Circodelia
Unleash your mind. Step into a realm where imagination takes centre stage. Explore surreal landscapes painted by your happiest thoughts, celebrating the unbound freedom of your mind. Lose yourself in a world fuelled by pure liberation and joyous self-expression.
Future Of Freedom
Embrace your individuality and become a living canvas for self-expression. Explore the fusion of art, music and fashion, where daring to be different is the only rule. Celebrate diversity and find your true self.
All this aside, we think there could be other changes on the cards too. Maybe, perhaps, the music policy will be brought a little bit up to date as well? Back in 2019, the waters were already tested with this, when Armand Van Helden and Louie Vega played guest sets.
We should have foreseen change coming.
In speaking to the local press, new Pacha Group owner Kabir Mulchandani said that he wanted "to give a special space to the Flower Power brand."
Get ready to elevate your Flower Power experience.
