Britain's foremost authority on UK Garage, DJ Spoony is back at the helm of ON111 (almost) every week this summer.
The veteran DJ and radio personality takes the reigns at O Beach on 19 out of 22 Thursdays, from 9 May until 3 October.
Spoony won't be alone, however. He reassembled the band, as fellow ON111 resident DJ Cameo and O Beach party-starters Grant Collins and Sam Dungate muscle in on the action. They will be accompanied by Jack Bullock on drums.
Charlsey will be his replacement on the three dates he is unable to attend.
This year's tag line is "welcome to the re-LOVE-ution" - and it really is all about the good vibes and love at this poolside treat.
It's not only UKG that you'll hear being spun, but soulful House, sexy R&B, dance classics and a smidgen of Hip-Hop. Basically, the perfect soundtrack to bask in the sun to.
Now one of the elder statesmen of dance music in the UK, Spoony has lost none of his youthful enthusiasm. Indeed, he is still spreading the gospel of UKG with the continued tour of Garage Classical.
He has also been honoured with a British Empire Medal, in recognition of his charitable pursuits and community projects. What an affable gent.
