Cloonee | Music On Daytime | 27 July 2023
Ever since Music On jumped ship to Pacha in 2019, we've had the pleasure of Marco Carola and his cohorts taking over Destino multiple times a summer. Outdoors and in the sunshine, these vibes are unmatched. This is what partying on Ibiza is all about.
Recorded only last year, Hell Bent label boss Cloonee underlined his growing profile by warming up for the big man at the height of summer. Fortunately for us, the cameras were there to capture it.
His Latin-infused set contains music from Boys Noize, Melé's Club Bad and his own imprint. This will get you in the mood for summer.
Luciano | Destino Closing Party | 7 October 2016
You can always count on Luciano to pop up at least once a summer at Destino. In 2016, he brought his Luciano & Friends party to Cap Martinet for a series of alfresco outings. At the end of that season, he was given the distinction of closing the venue as a reward.
The Swiss-Chilean extrovert can count classic sets at just about every club on Ibiza. Here is another which deserves to be considered one of his best.
Riva Starr, Kevin Yost and Pele & Shawnecy all feature in this typically rhythmic escapade.
Solomun | +Live | 25 August 2016
Towering Balkan Solomun might be best known for being the star attraction on Sundays at Pacha, but his appearances up the hill at Destino prove just as popular. In a mix-up to his weekly formula, he invited his favourite live acts to join him from 2015 to 2022.
After Rodriquez Jr. had laid the foundations in summer 2016, Solomun took to the stage for the closing set of one of his most memorable.
This excerpt includes music from Diynamic regular Rafael Cerato, Redshape and even a cameo from Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit.

Fast-forward
While it's still early days in announcement season, currently the only date in the diary is the Grand Opening Party on Sunday 28 April. Marco Carola will spar with PAWSA from Solid Grooves for a mouth-watering back-to-back set. Da Vid is the confirmed support act.
Previous years have seen Music On Daytime and Solomun +LIVE share the ten allocated dates between the opening and closing, making twelve parties in total. As well as the hosts, these parties have invited names such as Loco Dice, Damian Lazarus, Âme (live), Black Coffee, BLOND:ISH and Ilario Alicante in years gone by.
With new owners in Dubai-based FIVE Holdings and a proposed name change in the near future, Destino is set to have possibly its biggest year since its arrival. Watch this space.
