Summer is well and truly loading, as self-anointed "home of the pool party" Ibiza Rocks confirms a big chunk of its programme.
Before Christmas, we revealed the first two returning residencies: Ben Hemsley and LoveJuice both getting handed extended seasons. Now the party hotel has expanded its plans in a big way.
Let's start with one of San Antonio's, or even Ibiza's, most popular parties. Craig David's TS5 is back in its rightful place on Tuesdays. This summer, you have six opportunities to catch the headliner. He's playing twice at the end of May, before returning for the entirety of September.
Another blockbuster return is set for Joel Corry. For the fourth consecutive year, he is the guardian of poolside on Wednesdays. Only this year, he can count on weekly support from fellow Ibiza Rocks favourite Nathan Dawe. These giants of commercial dance music start from 3 July.
The next duo to get a recall are cut-up kings Switch Disco. Last year's custodians of Ibiza Anthems are back at the helm, armed with their unique mash-ups and personal edits. Fridays run from 3 May all the way through to 27 September.
There's news for Hip-Hop and R&B fans, too. After being the preserve of Saturdays for many years, Applebum moves to Thursdays to replace last year's UK Rap sessions. The summer-long programme starts on 9 May and ends in late August, with a few pauses for special events.
Did you want some new faces too?
Keeping things fresh is Trance and Hardstyle upstart Ben Nicky, who brings his Misfits brand to Ibiza Rocks on 22 May and 19 June. Meanwhile, early season Sundays are looked after by Soundcloud Presents and its unholy trinity of Cassö, DAIRE and Multunes.
That's a sizable portion of the Ibiza Rocks calendar complete, yet there's still more to come. As always, you'll hear about it here first. News of tickets is coming soon.
In the meantime, our magazine remains the place for breaking news and all confirmed dates can be found on our party calendar.
