Following Spanish tradition, Akasha is set to continue the festivities well into the new year. Saving its final talent-stacked party of the winter series for Saturday 6 January, a national Spanish holiday known as the Day of the Three Wise Men (Día de los Reyes Magos).
Hosting its own trio of underground royalty, Akasha invites Âme (live),Trikk and Igor Marijuan to the club's intimate booth for a night of elite electronic beats.
Âme, formed of Frank Wiedemann and Kristian Beyer, take the lead on the sonic voyage with one of their captivating live sets. The German duo have long asserted themselves as masterminds of melodic house and techno and notably head up respected imprint Innervisions, alongside Dixon.
Next up, Trikk. Whose DJ persona is branded by innovation and musical complexity, daring to dance on the side of obscurity. The Portuguese DJ and producer is a staple storyteller on the Innervisions label and event showcases and is a stellar match to play alongside Âme.
Completing the trio, Akasha’s music director and island friend Igor Marijuan knows all too well the refined musical tastes of the club’s close-knit crowd.
This is just adios, and not goodbye. After 6 January, Akasha will take a brief hiatus in preparation for the upcoming 2024 season. Our trusty party calendar is the space to watch for summer dates.
