About Pyramid
Taking inspiration from Amnesia's Techno parties of old, Pyramid is the club's in-house production specialising in underground dance music. It has a habit of booking big marquee acts that don't appear anywhere else: Bicep (2022), Richie Hawtin, Caribou and, of course, The Chemical Brothers (all 2023).
In addition to the line-up, Pyramid has a strong visual identity, with custom lighting and production, avant-garde podium dancers and geometric imagery - including its triangle calling card. Pyramid moved to Sundays last year and the pieces of the jigsaw fell instantly into place.
Still curious? We answer your burning questions: when? where? who? why? and how?
When?
Sunday 1 October, 22:00 to 06:00
We're down to the penultimate date in the Pyramid calendar and arguably the biggest of its summer. Opening an hour earlier than usual at 22:00, we have a bumper ride in store. 1 October means we're into peak closing party territory and the countdown to the last fortnight of clubbing.
Where?
Amnesia - one of Ibiza's most decorated clubs and a brand that wields worldwide influence. It has two awesome, but completely different dancefloors - and both of them retain legendary status on the island. The Main Room is dark and unsymmetrical with various tiers.
Meanwhile, the Terraza is a clubber's paradise, rectangular in shape with a spring-like dancefloor, that reacts to the rhythm of the crowd. It is here where The Chemical Brothers will play, just as they did at the Amnesia Closing Party in 2022.

Who?
Hey Boy Hey Girl, Galvanize, Swoon, Do It Again - even to the most casual of fans, it's clear The Chemical Brothers are behind some of dance music's biggest crossover tracks. Even so, despite their commercial success and a relevance closing in on three decades, you could never accuse of them of selling out. The Chems have remained credible, whilst striving for the in-credible.
Their Ibiza appearances have always been select: saved for the big occasions where they can flex their creativity, utilise the biggest production and live up to their supersized billing.
With tenth studio album For That Beautiful Feeling still freshly packed, Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands have new music to plug and treat our ears too.
They will be joined by Eats Everything and Marco Faraone on the Terraza, while Kobosil, Fatima Hajji and Reinier Zonneveld (live) line-up in the Main Room.
UNCAGE label head Marco Faraone brings a personal stamp of House and Techno and Eats Everything serves up big records. Next door, the tempo gets pushed to hair-raising levels with leading Technophile Fatima Haji and Berlin mainstay Kobosil, plus Filth on Acid innovator Reinier Zonneveld playing across the spectrum from Trance to Melodic Techno.
Why?
Still need convincing? How long have you got... because:
- it's The Chemical Brothers' one and only Ibiza date of summer 2023
- they absolutely slayed their last appearance on the Terraza in October 2022, almost twelve month ago
- the duo released new album For That Beautiful Feeling earlier this month. That means, lots of new material
- Ed and Tom aside, the line-up goes hard with Eats Everything, Marco Faraone, Kobosil and Reinier Zonneveld
- Pyramid consistently attracts one of the most musically savvy yet loco crowds on Ibiza, commanding a strong local turnout
- Pyramid's podium dancers are in a different league: weird, provocative, sensual, camp
- the most notorious CO2 cannons on the planet + The Chem's music = clubbing heaven
- it's Pyramid's penultimate date of summer 2023 - time is running out to experience this incredible party
