While Solomun's +1 party at Pacha is one of the most successful on the island, his less regular dates at Destino offer an experience of a different kind.
Outside, starting in the evening, ending at midnight and against the gorgeous backdrop of the clifftop location, there really is nothing like it.
Past years of this party, saw Solomun invite live acts as a variation to his "plus one" format. Âme, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, GHEIST and even brass band MEUTE all performed. For 2023, Solomun is tweaking the format once more.
Supplementing his weekly Sunday night, an overspill of DJs he couldn't accommodate there find their way to the adult-only resort.
Two hot Irish DJs, Cromby and Sally C, were surprise inclusions on his 2022 Pacha roster. They obviously did more than enough to impress when breaking their Ibiza ducks and wind up at Destino across the first two dates. Cromby plays on 13 July, while Sally C appears a week later.
For the third instalment on 17 August, Solomun invites another DJ who doesn't play here nearly enough as he should. Damiano von Erckert is the man in question.
The full line-up for the fourth and final date remains TBA for the time being.
Solomun fans also have the tantalising prospect of his first-ever back-to-back with Marco Carola to mark Pacha's 50th Anniversary on 2 August.
