About elrow Outdoors
Whichever metric you use, it's hard to label elrow as anything but the planet's biggest party brand. The colossus that originated in Barcelona has become a global phenomenon, thanks to its garish themes and use of production on a monumental scale - acrobats, confetti and CO2.
With festivals and club shows worldwide, elrow has a presence just about anywhere you can think of. elrow also has one of the biggest weekly club nights on the island. Not content with dominating there, its outdoor editions at Ushuaïa offer something different in a deluxe setting.
Keen to learn more? We answer the big questions: when? where? who? why? and how?
When?
Wednesday 24 July, Wednesday 14 August and Wednesday 4 September
17:00 to 23:00
Wednesdays at Ushuaïa are usually in the charge of Tomorrowland, but for three key summer dates, the keys are passed to elrow for more production-heavy antics and an industrial-sized quantity of confetti.
Where?
Palatial party hotel Ushuaïa - found at the south end of Playa d'en Bossa.
Capable of holding up to 7,000 rave-ready holidaymakers, Ushuaïa is the ultimate outdoor party experience. You're highly likely to fly over the club as you land, so get a good glimpse peering out of your window seat. Hours later, you could be stood below with your arms in the air.

Who?
Unlike nearly every other party, elrow doesn't really rely on superstar names. elrow is much more about the what? - the spectacle. The show takes centre stage. Two of the dates are collaborations with a pair of the world's biggest contemporary visual artists: Ron English and Nychos.
In July, immerse yourself in the trippy universe of Delusionville. You'll find a barage of psychedlic patterns and outrageous caricatures. Like Aesop's Fables on LSD. Utterly bonkers.
In August, El Rowcio is a more traditional elrow theme. Grab your tablao flamenco and join the dancefloor, where you'll encounter a Spanish gypsy wedding, characters dressed up in costume and jewellery, and witness the procession of Virgin Rowgelio.
Finally, September is elrow's latest theme Dance With The Serpent, which debuted at its Ibiza closing party last summer.
If we did have to give props to any individuals, then it would be the elrow animation team - a rag-tag bunch of rogues who go above and beyond to get in character and make your visit a memorable one. These guys are the lifeblood of elrow. They live and breathe it!
Let's also give it up for elrow resident DJs. They are more than capable of hanging with the headliners. Shout out to Toni Varga, Marc Maya, Tini Gessler, De La Swing and Bastian Bux, all of whom will be appearing across the three dates at Ushuaïa.
Then again, with names like Kölsch, Ilario Alicante (pictured above) and Cloonee also confirmed, these parties are not lacking star power either.
Why?
These parties sell themselves, but in case you still need some convincing, because...
- surreal stage designs on a grand scale
- giant puppets moving through the crowd
- whacky characters and flamboyant costumes at every turn
- frequent confetti showers that rain down in a multicoloured tsunami
- more camera moments than you'll know what to do with
- the very best Tech House soundtrack from the elite headliners to the elrow resident DJs
- one of Ushuaïa's most popular parties that always ends up selling out
- you can save money on the price of admission, by buying early-entry tickets and arriving promptly
How?
That's the easy bit: simply by heading below and securing your tickets.
For peace of mind, why not add insurance cover for between €4.40 and €6.90 per ticket? This allows you to cancel up to 24 hours before the start of the party for any reason, should your plans change. Insurance policyholders can then claim the full value of tickets back with no quibbles.
