Born from Defected's deep-rooted disco fever, Glitterbox was never going to be short of top DJs to call upon. Legendary mixers including Basement Jaxx, Roger Sanchez, Armand Van Helden and The Shapeshifters are the calibre of names you can expect on Sundays at Hï Ibiza.

Renaissance Man
Luke Solomon | 2 July & 24 September
An unsung hero of British House music history, Luke Solomon's is one of the driving forces behind Defected sub-label Classic Music Company, alongside Derrick Carter. Not only does he have a riotous reputation in the DJ booth, but he has a production credit on Beyoncé's platinum selling album and House homage, Renaissance.
Finally getting the recognition he deserves, Luke Solomon guarantees an old school mentality with new school enthusiasm. Throw in some funky basslines and hard-to-find records and that's a delicious recipe. Simply not to be missed.
Meat market
Horse Meat Disco | 2 & 23 July, 17 September
Casting back to my first Glitterbox experience,Horse Meat Disco were spinning dusty forgotten treasures from the vaults of '70s and '80s disco. There's something about that first glitter-coated encounter that has left an indelible impression on me.
Long-standing Glitterbox affiliates, Horse Meat Disco are the embodiment of a damn good time.
Infectious feel-good grooves are their thing. Branding their namesake club night as "the Queer party for everyone", any set from is a doorway to express yourself and get lost in the music. Everything Ibiza stands for.
Dropping the 'M' bomb
Melon Bomb | 2 & 23 July, 20 August, 17 September
Before I'd even been to Glitterbox for the first time, there was a recurring them: "You've got to see Melon Bomb." "Best night on Ibiza when I saw Melon Bomb." This was all I heard up until I broke my own cherry. From then on I didn't hear it, I said it myself.
Glitterbox stands for fun, for letting loose to music and that is exactly what a crowd under the influence of Melon Bomb do. The Ibiza collective know exactly how to send revellers into a frenzy. Their effervescent energy in the Wild Corner is unmatched.
Getting down with Dijon
Honey Dijon | 16 July
The undisputed Queen of everything, Honey Dijon has the prowess to completely steal the show with her expressive House beats, raunchy Disco and gyrating dance moves. Dripping in sex appeal, Glitterbox seems the perfect medium to facilitate the Trans star's vivacious persona.
A paragon for the spirit of our scene, Honey "F***ING" Dijon underlines why Disco is universal and can be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age, nationality or gender.

Fat Tony | 13 & 27 August, 10 September
…and why should he? If anyone knows their way around the dancefloor, it's Fat Tony. The loveable rogue of London's party heyday is one of House music's most authentic personalities.
Though he's managed to steer himself away from a self-destructive path that nearly killed him, let alone end his career, he hasn't skipped a beat when it comes to playing records.
To truly appreciate the man who stands before you in the booth, Fat Tony's candid memoir I Don't Take Requests makes for a wild poolside read on your Ibiza holiday.
Truthfully, this was a hard list to compile since we could have included a dozen or so more standout DJs. That's the thing about Glitterbox, it's about as guaranteed of a good time as you're likely to find anywhere on Ibiza.
