High summer on Ibiza: July's must-attend events & activities.

The heat is on and the white island responds with its customary high-season gusto! One thing's for sure, residents and holidaymakers are in for a treat thanks to the many entertainment options this month.

Ibiza Fashion Festival 2024

Tuesday 4 July

Celebrating its 11th anniversary of sustainable fashion on the white island, the Ibiza Fashion Festival 2024 will take place at 528 Ibiza, just outside San Antonio, and showcase the fashion of a number of global fashion designers who specialise in luxury sustainable fashion, including Arenas Swimwear, Rituals, Cavalcante, Dunesi, and more.

With a promising soundtrack for the evening headlined by celebrity DJ Woody Cook, with DJ's Audio K9 and DJ Proxie providing support, make sure you get your ticket in time. 


Traditional dances at Ibiza Port

5 & 19 July 2024

Known as ball pagès (literally farmers' dance) this traditional dance is a unique aspect of Ibiza's cultural heritage. It showcases the islands' (Ibiza & Formentera) heritage through music, dance, and traditional attire.

Based on ancient courtship traditions and rituals, the event takes place on Fridays throughout the summer. From 21:00, you will be able to enjoy the spectacle of these beautiful and unusual dances at the Plaza de Es Martell, in Ibiza Port, close to the obelisk. 

Don't miss this chance to experience a taste of Ibizan folklore up close.


Ibiza fiestas: Es Caná

Every day from 6 until 13 July 2024

Located in the northeast of the island, the popular family resort of Es Caná is celebrating its Patron Saint Cristopher festivities at the height of the summer season. Lasting a full eight days, it features lots of live music and games for children. There is the traditional holy mass in the resort's small chapel and a big parade through the streets along with traditional dances. 

On Wednesday, 10 July the Hippy Market Punta Arabí will be extra special joining in on the local celebrations with special live music performances and entertainment for the little ones. 

A must for holidaymakers and locals alike.


XIII Trail Sant Jordi

Sun 7 Jul, 2024

Taking place on dirt tracks and forest trails along a 16-km circuit, the 13th Trail Sant Jordi is a foot race that's open to all runners over 18 years, with or without a federative license. Come down to witness the spectacle or sign up to take part in what has become an annual classic.

And for added incentives, there are different prizes for each category.


Art exhibitions at Aiyanna

8 - 12 July & 22 - 26 July

The beautiful restaurant Aiyanna Ibiza, located on the beach of Cala Nova presents a series of art exhibitions for summer 2024. This month two international artists will be exhibiting their work at this stunning venue.

8 - 12 July: Eat More Art: featuring the artist Ivonne whose main materials come from an infinity of tones acquired spices, natural flours and beets among others. The result is brilliant textures and effects that no acrylic product can produce. 

22 - 26 July: Emile Durrer: Based between London and Ibiza, the photographer and musician Emile Durrer-Gasse grew up in the typical Balearic landscape, with its abundance of clear light and sea. The artist instinctively looks to communicate a timeless approach to life; simple, slow and in harmony with nature. 


Free guided walks in Santa Eulalia

13 July

This month's edition of the ongoing series of free guided walks around Santa Eulalia starts from Es Caná and is the perfect opportunity to get out, meet other enthusiasts, and explore the scenery in the East of the white isle. Suited for both adults and children, the walk is a fun way to get fit while discovering the scenic treasures of this municipality. So, dust off those walking shoes and get ready for a super summer stroll.


Fiesta of Nuestra Señora del Carmen

16 July

The resort of Portinatx, in the far northeast of the island, is the stage for the Fiesta of Saint Carmen, Patron Saint of fishing communities and mariners. On Ibiza, she is celebrated in Ibiza Town, San Antonio, Santa Eulalia, Es Cubells and - above all - Portinatx. The day’s activities include a mass in the local church, colourful boat processions – look out for the tiny fishing craft known locally as llaüts - and music. 

Visitors are welcome to join in the procession by boarding one of the regular tourist boats that ply the waters of the resort.


Big Band Day "THE ILLUSIONS" at WOM

19 July

Featuring performances by top DJs and "The Ilusions", WOM's 7-piece House Band, this one-day musical extravaganza at Santa Eulalia's upcoming star, WOM Radio Cafe, is a must-see experience. 

If you can't make the 19th, every Wednesday presents Openlab Radio Show at WOM. Expect cool interviews with tasty content, good energy and some truly pucker tucker!  Come down to the beach and click with the Ibiza word-of-mouth community.


Ibiza Swim Week at Aguas de Ibiza Grand Luxe Hotel

20 July

The inaugural edition of Ibiza Swim Week - the most anticipated swimwear fashion fair of the year - this exclusive event showcases local, national, and international beachwear and swimwear brands who will be presenting their latest collections on a one-of-a-kind runway.

Held at Aguas de Ibiza Grand Luxe Hotel, the event fuses high-quality beachwear, amazing gastronomy, and cool sounds in a matchless setting. Aqua chic comes to Santa Eulalia


Full moon party @Nassau Beach Club

22 July

Uber-glamorous beach club Nassau, is the place to head for a midsummer's night extravaganza of high-end gastronomy, music, fire and fashion shows, all beneath the benevolent gaze of the full moon. The full moon party at Nassau invites you to sample its succulent cuisine with Mediterranean and Asian influences and try out some of its delicious signature cocktails on this special night.

Definitely one for lunaphiles everywhere.


Ibiza Vinyl Market at Kumharas

27 July 

Held at cool sunset venue Kumharas, in the bay of San Antonio, the Ibiza Vinyl Market is your opportunity to listen to superb sounds with exclusive vinyl sessions, live painting, tasty street food, and delicious cocktails, all to the backdrop of a beautiful sunset.

This event supports vulnerable children in Africa through Project Equilibrium. Tables can not be reserved so we recommend getting there early. 


Wellness Nights at Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay

Evening craft market in San Rafael

Every Thursday

Taking place in and around the church square of the picturesque village of San Rafael, this artisan market is a great spot to pick up some quality souvenirs, including ceramics in traditional and contemporary design and many other local products.

Attended by authentic artisans who exhibit and sell their own work along with performances of live entertainment each second week and folk dancing each fourth Thursday of the month.
