In the north of Ibiza lies a little jewel of a spot, the iconic beach of Benirras. It offers up an awesome sunset with the magical silhouette of the rock in the middle of the sea beyond that's known to islanders as the "Finger of God" (to the left in the picture).
Famous for its summer night drummers whose tribal beats drum down the sunset, it is one of the most picturesque beaches on the island, having a special spiritual feel.
Best time to go: April 5 to September 7
Top tip: Take a walk on the wooden promenade on the right hand side, then head for an exquisite meal or even massage at Elements Ibiza Restaurant.
Getting there: In high season parking can be very difficult here for the sunset hours, we recommend getting here well in time. On Sundays there is a shuttle bus (see information on beach page)
