APSARA summons ancient spirits to Akasha

Divine beings that transcend Hindu and Buddhist mythology are coming to the Las Dalias nightclub.

This coming weekend, Akasha's springtime programme gets underway in ritualistic fashion.

Legend from Hindu and Buddhist mythology says that Apsara, beautiful, divine beings, descended from the clouds to beguile and entertain the kings of old with their captivating dance and charm.

These same ancient spirits are being summoned to San Carlos on Friday 24 March.

Headline DJs Tobi Neumann and Maurizio Schmitz are the men responsible for bringing this ritual to life. Veterans of the game, they know Ibiza's club scene inside-out. Isolated Akasha, located in Ibiza's hippy north, seemed like the obvious home for the project.

Akasha being a Sanskrit word itself, a symbiotic connection already exists and is waiting to be explored.

You can already get a feel for the sound of the party by listening to Tobi and Maurizio's track selections. Musically, this night is going to be right up there. No question.

By now, we're sure we don't have to enthuse too much more about Akasha - the word is out.

The intimate 300 capacity club has an amazing sound system. Every DJ who plays there can't wait to come back. With the booth positioned where it is, in the middle of the room, it's makes the headliner feel at one with the dancefloor.

During the cool season, it has become ritual for Ibiza's clubbing fraternity to descend on Akasha at the weekend. That behaviour seems unlikely to change, but maybe an already spiritual place is about to take things up several notches.

Pre-sale tickets for this party are unbeatable value at only €10 each. Get yours below.
