Ibiza Rocks completes its big week of announcements

The announcements included residencies for LoveJuice and Charlie Sloth and one-offs from Aitch and D-Block Europe.

Ibiza Rocks went hard this week, in the office at least. Starting Monday, the self-styled home of the pool party released info on a new party every day this week.

It might only be February, but we can practically feel the summer heat rising from the pool. Excuse us while we pat our clammy brow and collar. Announcement season just has a habit of having that giddying effect on us.

Last month, Ibiza Rocks confirmed its returning residencies. This week it went further still and included more than one surprise. Let's see what got announced over the last five days...

Fire In The Pool | Thursdays | June to September

announced Monday 6 February

Rap music mogul Charlie Sloth will be your esteemed host-with-the-most on Thursdays throughout the summer. Mr Sloth adapts his cultural phenomena Fire In The Booth series fit for poolside.

Fire In The Pool will showcase the hottest Hip-Hop and Grime on this side of the Atlantic.

ArrDee, one of the headline names at Ibiza Rocks Opening, is back to prop up every date in June. His mini residency starts at the 1 June opening party and continues for the next four weeks.

Drake and Stormzy collaborator Headie One (20 July) and Manchester rapper Bugzy Malone (10 August) get a blockbuster date each before venue favourites Krept & Konan play every episode in September. Their tenure starts 7 September.

We make attendance essential for anybody who considers themselves fans of UK Hip-Hop.

Tickets are on sale now.

D-Block Europe present DBE Fest | Thursday 27 July

announced Tuesday 7 February

Yesterday's announcement about Fire In The Pool still left a few gaps on Thursday, but today we've already plugged one of them. On Thursday 27 July, Dirtbike LB and Young Adz of D-Block Europe take over the home of the pool party for their own festival.

Hot property in the UK Hip-Hop scene, D-Block Europe were introduced to Ibiza Rocks' audiences as part of Stormzy's giant #MERKY Fest. Now the duo come full circle to present DBE Fest.

Taking inspiration from transatlantic cousins Jadakiss and Styles P of The Lox, these former BRIT nominees have a huge summer lined-up. Not only will the rough riders be touring their new album, but they will fly into Ibiza off the back of headlining Wireless in Finsbury Park.

Tickets for this one-off poolside spectacular are on sale now.

Aitch2o | Thursday 13 July & Friday 14 July

announced Wednesday 8 February

Back by extremely popular demand, and double-deckered for extra pleasure, Aitch is back at Ibiza Rocks. Everybody scream!

The man from Manny will programme two consecutive days of Aitch2o, Thursday 13 July and Friday 14 July. Last year was insane, but with a whole extra day to play with this time around, our money is on this year being even crazier.

The rapper sells out wherever his name appears. This will be no different.

Tickets are on sale now.

LoveJuice Playground | Sundays | June & July

announced Thursday 9 February

Anybody who has partied in and around London for the last fifteen years will already know all about LoveJuice. Whether its a sweaty basement club in East London or any of its satellite events in the surrounding counties, the party series and label off-shot has forged quite the reputation.

Since it launched, LoveJuice has helped push its residents George Mensah and Sammy Porter on their way to becoming two of the capital's most in-demand DJs.

After constantly selling out parties on home turf, an Ibiza residency is finally confirmed. LoveJuice Playground takes place every Sunday throughout June and July.

Tickets are on sale now.
