Party preview | Follow The Signal to Ushuaïa by day

All you need to know about the joint Opening Party on Saturday 29 April.

About The Signal

Sticking with the tradition of opening Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza on the same day and going around the clock, The Signal is lift-off for The Night League in 2023.

Combining blockbuster names with its established residents, The Night League starts as it means to carry on the rest of summer: with the most stacked line-ups, the most awe-inspiring production and the biggest, wildest crowds. If you can hear it, you have been chosen.

Thirsty to know more? We answer the salient questions: when? where? who? and how?

When?

Saturday 29 April, 13:00 to 23:00
(continuing over the road at sister-venue Hï Ibiza from 23:00 to close)

Falling on the same weekend as last year's epic double-header, The Signal follows the International Music Summit (26 to 28 April). The three-day-long industry get-together is a busy period for the island and is widely regarded as the curtain-raiser to the season.

Basically, a great excuse for a party! Plus, flights and hotels tend to be a lot more affordable compared to peak summer. Bonus.

Where?

Palatial party hotel Ushuaïa - found at the south-end of Playa d'en Bossa.

Capable of holding up to 7,000 rave-ready holidaymakers, Ushuaïa is the ultimate outdoor party experience. You're highly likely to fly over the club as you land, so get a good glimpse peering out of your window seat. Hours later, you could be stood below with your arms in the air.

Who?

Essentially, the biggest names in House and Techno have been rounded-up for this one. It's huge!

After an applause-stealing headline show last August, Progressive House master Eric Prydz is back. Despite being one of the giants of dance music, his infrequent Ibiza appearances make this special already.

Somebody a bit more accustomed to the occasion is Paul Kalkbrenner, who has become a recurring face at the Ushuaïa Opening Party. There's a reason he keeps on getting invited back: he's ace.

Last time we saw Maceo Plex at Ushuaïa, he played back-to-back with Tale Of Us. This time, we get him undiluted and solo.

On the rest of the bill, Melodic Techno will be in plentiful supply courtesy of Kevin de Vries and Massano, while Syreeta is one of the most versatile DJs on the international circuit.

Well worth arriving early and seeing all these diverse talents do their thing.

Why?

Silly question, but in case you still need the hard sell. Because...

  • the line-up is drop-dead irresistible
  • it's the first party back at Ushuaïa since early October 2022 (say no more)
  • Ushuaïa goes all out for the occasion: streamers, CO2, pyrotechnics - the full monty
  • you can party around the clock, from 13:00 Saturday to midday Sunday, almost a full 24 hours
  • rare chance to catch Eric Prydz play on Ibiza
  • Paul Kalkbrenner always levels up for Ushuaïa's Opening Party
  • if you don't know about Syreeta, get to know. She's a star of the scene in the making
  • it'd be plain unthinkable to be on the island on this date and not be there, 'duh!
