Local football club Penya Esportiva Sant Jordi is now sponsored by clubbing hotel Ushuaïa.
The team will wear kits with the Ushuaïa name and logo during the forthcoming 2022-23 season. The first game in the Balearic Third Division kicks-off on Sunday 11 September.
This is just the latest community project that The Night League is involved with.
Palladium Hotel Group's financial director, Vicente Marí Ventura, said this of the sponsorship deal:
"We want to support the island's sports clubs, in this case the Penya Esportiva Sant Jordi, so that it continues to grow and can compete with the rest of the teams in the competition."
His colleague José Luis Benítez expanded on this, by saying:
"We are very aware that these types of initiatives are essential for clubs, players and fans. With this new support we have strengthened the already existing relationship with Penya Esportiva Sant Jordi."
Being a Sant Jordi-based company ourselves, we wish Penya Esportiva Sant Jordi all the best for the coming season.
Away from the field and back in club land, Ushuaïa is prepping for a massive weekend ahead.
Calvin Harris brings his record-breaking season to a close on Friday 2 September, before ANTS Invasion hits on back on 3 September. The weekend is rounded off by Ushuaïa favourite Paul Kalkbrenner headlining his own party.
