Closing party season is one of life's joys. It's a period of the year that never fails to deliver. You can always find something happening to suit your personal taste or budget.
Although it's a banker, sometimes even we find ourselves surprised with just how much it can exceed expectations. Just because of the sheer number of options, tomorrow, Thursday 29 September, is one day that leaps out.
Likely you've already got your plans nailed down, but if you're still at a loose end let us make it easier for you.
We run down everything that is happening on the island. Maybe there's something you've previously missed? Tickets are our speciality, but last minute tickets perhaps even more.
Afterlife Day & Night | Ushuaïa & Hï Ibiza
Tale Of Us round up their Afterlife troops, as well as drafting in some heavyweight support, to finish the season in emphatic fashion. This special double-header sees them take on Ushuaïa by day before moving onto Hï Ibiza by night.
In addition to label acolytes such as Mind Against, Fideles and Cassian, Afterlife is boosted by ringers Dixon, Maceo Plex, Sven Väth, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann and ANNA playing across both venues. Now that's how you do a closing party.
One More Time | Eden
One for the Trance faithful!
We're currently in the middle of Ibiza Trance Week and the genre's global community has arrived in full spirits. No doubt many of them will currently be basking in the afterglow of the Kevin & Perry reunion. Well, One More Time at Eden is the official part deux.
Scene titans Mauro Picotto, Tall Paul and Dave Pearce are all along for the white knuckle ride. It's going to get euphoric.
El Baile | Pacha
Pacha's time travelling Dancership is flying across the decades yet again and this week's edition is one of the most decorated yet. El Baile has assembled Monki, Cole Knight and Anstascia back-to-back with Guy Laliberté, while Ida Engberg plays a House and classics set.
Of course, this party is about far much more than just the main room. Areas such as Calle de la Virgen, Bailearic and X Room by Xtra are asking to be explored. Get ready to dance into the future yet again. BUY TICKETS & MORE INFO
Nathan Dawe closing party | Ibiza Rocks
For those who like some daytime action, or perhaps just want some feel-good, easily consumable dance music, get yourselves to poolside at Ibiza Rocks. Nathan Dawe started summer as the new kid on the block, but he's made Thursday daytimes his own.
Belters Only, Goddard and IAMSAM are amongst the names joining him as he celebrates one last outing. Musically, you can expect everything from Hip-Hop to House, Garage to Grime.
Beat Hotel | Akasha
Refusing to be distracted by what's been happening elsewhere in clubland, Akasha has kept its head down and walked its own path this summer. As it closes in on its one year anniversary, that independence is set to pay off.
Beat Hotel's takeover is typical of that ethos. An exceptionally well curated line-up sees Fort Romeu, Jennifer Cardini and Maurice Fulton all DJ. Furthermore, Balearic darling Róisín Murphy will perform twice, once outside in Las Dalias' garden and a second time inside later on.
Satori's A Starry Night | Club Chinois
Live electronic music performers are still somewhat of a novelty in DJ-obsessed Ibiza. Satori is one artist in high demand who's bucking that trend. His storied A Starry Night residency at chic Club Chinois is a party that unites music aficionados and affluent tourists on the dancefloor.
If you've yet to see Satori perform, then we won't give away any spoilers. Needless to say, you will be transfixed by his talent and showmanship.
Support comes from Sorä, Santa Vie and Clint Lee. BUY TICKETS & MORE INFO
Fiesta del Agua | Es Paradis
Maybe you just want to let your hair down and enjoy some unashamed fun. Look no further than Fiesta del Agua - an Ibiza institution. The weekly water party has been running at Es Paradis for over 40 years. Yes, you read that right, water!
Resident DJ Steeve Valverde spins the tunes as the sprinklers are turned on and you get submerged up to your knees. Wear clothing you don't mind getting soaked, is our advice.
DJ Harvey & Pete Gooding | Hostal la Torre
One added bonus to end on. No tickets needed (although booking is essential), but still deserving of a mention simply because of how great it will be. Old hands Harvey Bassett and HLT's music director Pete Gooding will be playing unadulterated Balearic goodness around sunset.
You're unlikely to hear better music anywhere else all year. Please visit our Hostal La Torre page for more info.
Wooo! Above we covered melodic Techno, old school Trance, House, Disco, Electronica, commercial dance and, perhaps most importantly of all, Balearic Beat. Such choice. Regardless of your age, budget or musical preference, tomorrow is simply astronomical.
Like we said, closing party season is in full tilt.
