Season preview | Time to get reeled in by FISHER

What to expect on Wednesdays at Hï Ibiza.

Ever feel like you're spoiled for choice? We certainly do this summer, thanks to Hï Ibiza and its never-ending roster of DJ talent. Wednesdays are a case in point, having been taken up a notch with a new weekly residency from FISHER and Vintage Culture.

Stooping to popular demand, it's no wonder they're back for 2022. From 15 June to 28 September weekly headline performances will take place in both of Hï Ibiza's rooms, where they be joined by carefully selected big name guests.

The Theatre

Ferocious DJ from down under FISHER returns to Hï Ibiza this summer, only this time he's promoted to The Theatre to front his own Wednesday night residency. Since launching onto the scene with his global smash hit Losing It, FISHER has continued breaking boundaries with his string of supersized, chart-topping singles.

The eccentric personality both in real life and on Instagram, has his fans lapping up his anarchical takes and devil-may-care persona. In the booth, he is no less restrained, whipping the crowd into a frenzy with his screwball expressions and hand gestures - a true modern day showman.

His super-charged sets encompass his own tunes and some dance classics. Having recently caught him at Creamfields South, big room edits of Euhythmics' Sweet Dreams and Bob Sinclar's World Hold On are some of his dancefloor weapons.

FISHER's style is less a DJ set, much more a performance. Wednesdays are going to be off the wall!

Club Room

For several years before the pandemic, Vintage Culture earned his Ibiza stripes as a frequent guest for Martin Garrix at Ushuaïa. However, it has been since then where his career has taken to new heights. Tracks with Sonny Fodera and James HYPE have helped solidify his reputation.

Additionally, the DJ is closing in on one billion streams across the major platforms, including Spotify and YouTube. Largely driven by a devout following in Brazil and his South American homeland, it's not inaccurate to say that Vintage Culture might be the country's biggest current electronic music star.

His reworking of Oxia's Domino with fellow Brazilian export Alok was one of the tracks which helped push him into the upper tier.

Vintage Culture also has plenty of originals under his belt to get the crowd pumping. His recent collab with Maxi Jazz of Faithless on SPINNIN' Records being one example.

We've seen how a DJ with momentum can outgrow the Club Room very quickly, so who can tell what the limit is for Vintage Culture?

With FISHER's showmanship, Vintage Culture's samba flair and hordes of revellers ready to be hypnotised, Wednesdays at Hï Ibiza are looking tasty. Throw in some wildcard guests like Fatboy Slim, Mall Grab and Eats Everything, and you have a potent concoction of politically-incorrect, adrenaline-fuelled fun.

Tickets for the opening party on Wednesday 15 June and the other 15 dates can be picked up below.
