Comprised of Rami Abousabe and Tamer Malki, Brooklyn-based duo Bedouin, bring their Arabic-inspired sounds to Pacha for a brand new midweek party.
Every Wednesday from 25 May, the pair will leave an indelible fingerprint on the cherry church.
From their Middle Eastern heritage to their Western upbringing and worldly adventures in between, it’s little wonder they are often categorised within their own genre.
Exuding richness, exoticism and drive, they are the perfect pairing for Pacha. If you’re unacquainted, think brooding, sensual and utterly engrossing House music in the Burning Man style. It's an intoxicating sound.
Each week they'll be joined by an array of special guests, all the way until 5 October.
Big names from the party's past incarnation are back. These include Black Coffee, Damian Lazarus, Audiofly and Guy Gerber, who returns to the scene of Wisdom of the Glove.
Mano Le Tough (pictured), Patrice Bäumel, Red Axes and Trikk, who was a regular at Transmoderna, are further exciting guests.
There's also bookings for Henrik Schwarz (live), Bonobo (DJ set), DJ Tennis and Chloé Caillet. Perhaps the nicest surprises are reserved for hippy DJ Acid Pauli and one time Pacha heroes Deep Dish - the joint project between Dubfire and Sharam Jey.
If you find yourself intrigued but still unsure, then head over to YouTube and search for the duo’s recent Cercle or past Burning Man streams. Chances are, you're already under their spell.
The storied opening party starts next Wednesday. Danish trio WhoMadeWho play a hybrid DJ-live set, while the man who first gave Bedouin an Ibiza residency, Guy Laliberté, is the other guest.
