Freddies disco reawakens on Pikes opening weekend

Friday to Sunday, 22 to 24 April.

Ready to rock like, well, a rock star? One of the most iconic hotels on the island, Pikes celebrates its long-awaited opening weekend Friday 22 to Sunday 24 April. Mark your calendar for great music and good vibes.

From 14:00 on Friday, Guy William's gay boutique party Flash invites Homoeletric to join the shenanigans on the terrace and the pool area. Mixing the best in Acid House, Flash is party where you can be yourself. No matter your ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender, all are welcome at this multi-coloured party.

Saturday continues with the Pikes House Party, the fixed appointment for as long as we care to remember. Here we will enjoy dancing to the rhythm of DJs John Acquaviva, Ben Westbeech, Melon Bomb and more, including the Pikes House Band, naturally.

The final icing on the cake is provided by Pikes On Sundays, back for its eighth season.

Hosted by the Brothers Grim, Pikes On Sunday starts off relaxing by the pool, before the tempo picks up throughout the day. Although a pitstop in Pamelas for one of Pikes famed Sunday roasts is always on the cards.

By night, the programme transforms into Tales Of The Unexpected where the unexpected, but most-welcome guest DJ is none other than Ida Engberg.

All three parties move inside later on, as Freddies finally reopens. The intimate disco has been off-bounds these past two years, but will trust open its doors with gay abandon this weekend.

Magical nights and vibrant pool parties are back at the hotel to the rock stars. Give yourself what you deserve. Pikes and Freddies are waiting for you. Visit the Pikes website for more info.
