Trance kingpin Paul van Dyk has turned in a pair of killer remixes to the seminal Ibiza anthem, Café Del Mar.
Somewhat unbelievably, he's never previously remixed it until now.
Naturally, our favourite of the two is the SHINE remix. We think the Trance purists will agree. Listen below.
On the flip-side, the tempo is slowed on the XOYO remix, introducing crisp percussion and pulsating bassline. Both are available to purchase now here.
After nearly two decades of inactivity, this is the first release on the revived Superstition Records. Expect more re-issues to follow on the label later in 2021.
Both remixes follow Tale Of Us' 2018 melodic Techno take on the track and Michael Woods' famous version. Next year will be its 30th anniversary.
Named lovingly after the institution that is Café del Mar, the original by Energy 52 and its various interpretations have endured and remain favourites.
