Wednesdays at W IBIZA
Music is a key element of the W experience, and every week there is a tasty selection of happenings taking place that features a carefully curated roster of international and island-based DJs.
Get the week started with Jazz to Techno, featuring Chelu García on the keyboards and synthesizers and saxophonist Franco Botto. You can enjoy their music every Wednesday evening from 20.00 at the Glow rooftop bar.
One of the most iconic names you will see pop up regularly at the W Ibiza is the ‘father of the Balearic beat’, Alfredo. A veteran on the island’s music scene, the Argentinian music selector is widely regarded as the DJ who made the unique sound of the island famous on a global level, inspiring other turntable stars for generations to come. Every Thursday, he takes over both the GLOW rooftop bar, as well as the laid-back W Lounge on the ground floor, under the motto Alfredo & Friends.
Starting his sunset shift at 20.00 on the roof, listening to Alfredo working his magic while enjoying the vast views over Santa Eulalia’s beach - the sparkling sea right in front of you, and the rolling hills framing town to the other side - is a magical experience. Enjoy a masterfully mixed cocktail as the sun slowly turns the sky orange, then pink. After dark, if you want more you can follow Alfredo downstairs and take a seat on the cosy cushions in the W Lounge where he continues from 22.00.
FRIDAYS AT W IBIZA
Got that Friday feeling? Lazy Sunset at Glow will help you see the week out in style when DJ Samir, one of the island's most sought-after private event sound selectors, brings the good vibes as he powers through a wide range of genres including everything from pop to disco, motown to techno and house!
Another weekly favourite is the Deep Disco Sunset series, taking you deeper into the weekend on Saturday night with underground disco, Italo and electronic funk beats. Music lovers from all over the world will recognise names such Phat Phil Cooper and Guy Williams on the line-up, supported by island favourites such as Jo Mills and Ainsley May.

Last, but not least, another hip happening to look out for on Sundays are the Sonica Sessions by W Ibiza, a collaboration featuring one of the island’s biggest and most acclaimed radio station and its stable of cutting-edge talent.
Full Moons at W IBIZA
Once a month it is also worth looking out for W Ibiza’s special Full Moon Live Show, which sees mesmerising Persian musician Bahrahmji bring his exotic and hypnotic sounds to the lofty setting of Glow. He is supported by Medusa Odyssey, creating a unique musical journey around the globe. This summer, there are three more of these magical happenings taking place on July 24th, August 22nd and September 21st.
