A notable gem in the White Island’s culinary crown, 7Pines Resort Ibiza's onsite restaurant The View will be hosting two exciting gourmet events this July featuring top chef Tohru Nakamura.
The Munich-born kitchen master is renowned for his cosmopolitan fusion cuisine, which plays on his German and Japanese roots. His talent and flair have not only earned him two Michelin stars for his work at renowned hotel restaurant Werneckhof by Geisel, but also the accolade of “Chef of the Year 2020” as awarded by the Gault Millau.
Under the title “TOHRU ON TOUR”, on 9 July Nakamura will be working his magic together with 7Pines chef Andrés Fernández to create a special tasting menu and wine pairing. The gastronomic experience will showcase and combine regional Mecklenburg dishes, Sylt Island aromas and Mediterranean flavours with a contemporary Asian twist across an outstanding 12 courses.
Starting at 7.30pm, guests can enjoy the incredible flavour combinations while soaking up the breathtaking sunset vistas The View is famous for. The menu (including the wine pairing) is priced at 363 EUR p.p. with a special rate available for hotel guests.
On 10 July, Tohru’s culinary tour de force continues at the resorts Cone Club with a casual ‘dine & dance’ event curated and sound-tracked with top international DJ Alle Farben. After enjoying some delicious gourmet creations, guests can enjoy dancing the summer night away to the producer’s top tracks like 'Fading' or 'She Moves'.
In front of spectacular sunset views and with the mysterious rock island of Es Vedrá on the horizon, the event will mark the grand finale of “TOHRU ON TOUR”. A limited number of seats are available for EUR 180 p.p.
