The world's largest simultaneous DJ live stream is back again, giving beginner DJs another opportunity to play alongside their heroes.
Each Set For Love event has attracted the support of many industry heavyweights, raising an amazing £80,000 earlier in the year, and the Christmas event is no exception. Coinciding with World Children's Day on 20 November and running right through until Sunday 22nd, it will be headlined by non-other than Sasha, streaming a sunset set from an iconic Ibiza location, Carl Cox in Australia, Kevin Saunderson B2B The Saunderson Brothers in Detroit, Fatima Hajji and Josh Butler. More headline artists will be announced soon.
Organised by the Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (LNADJ) charity, the last two Set For Love DJ initiatives have seen a mammoth 148 hours of simultaneous live streaming from more than 1,000 DJs in over 80 different countries!
For full details, those looking to take part, can simply register at Set For Love and receive a Set For Love DJ Pack that has everything needed to promote a set and arrange donations. Plus, there is access to Q and A's, webinars and a like-minded community of peers, all of which offer technical and fundraising support.
The Christmas event is focussed on creating sustainable futures for children and young adults in developing countries. Specifically, projects to stop child labour and help get children into education, a centre for the rehabilitation of young girls who have experienced sex trafficking and domestic abuse and the creation of sustainable food and water resources
Returning for the second time this year, Carl Cox said, “I'm happy to be a part of the Set For Love Xmas Appeal for World Children's Day and hope many DJs around the world will join in between the 20th and 22nd of November. Please check us out and support the cause, it's going to change a child's life forever and all the while having fun with the music we're playing. Let's make this one the biggest it can possibly be!”
So, dust off the decks, pick out your choicest tunes and join the worldwide DJ community to help raise funds for this amazing cause.
