Hot Since 82 announces new album

Recovery is set to land in November.

Exciting news in today on the music front, as Hot Since 82 announces a brand new 12-track album. Recovery is primed for a 27 November release on Knee Deep In Sound.

Fear not fans, you don't need to wait to hear a taster. The record's lead single Eye Of The Storm is out now.

Written during the coronavirus outbreak, the single has punchy kick drums, rumbling bass and soaring vocals courtesy of classically-trained Liz Cass. “It's about pain and survival”, says Daley.

Actually, the whole album will carry the theme of healing. “Recovery as the name of the album was spawned last year, but now feels even more appropriate to these troubled times.”

His most personal work to date, the LP promises fans more stripped-back music with attention taken away from the dance floor.

The DJ and producer tragically lost a close friend to mental health in 2017. The album charts the period after Coop's passing, and continues into the world going into lockdown.

Recovery will be the third Hot Since 82 album, following last year's 8-track and 2013's Little Black Book. As fans since day one ourselves, we can't wait to hear it in full.

Eye Of The Storm featuring Liz Cass is out today and available to purchase here.
