Pacha create the World's Biggest Dancefloor

Stay home. Dance. Save lives.

On 25 April Pacha Ibiza transformed into a worldwide phenomenon, when 9000 partygoers, from 98 countries, gathered together to enjoy a unique virtual club experience. Via the popular videoconferencing platform, Zoom, Pacha created the world's biggest virtual dancefloor.

Pacha fans around the world made a real effort to dress up and dance, converting their living rooms into mini discos. Besides the seven hours of non-stop music from artists such as Pete Tong and Claptone, it was fun to watch the reaction of participants as they realised the spotlight had zoomed in on their own private party. Pacha once again proving that music, fun and entertainment go hand in hand.

“It's time to celebrate but also time to be beside those who need it most” says Nick McCabe of Pacha Group, who have been very proactive in giving practical help and raising funds for local charities throughout the lockdown.

In the spirit of solidarity with the local community, the Pacha Foundation managed to raise a donation of €6500 for the Red Cross in Ibiza, helping to protect their volunteers against the effects of the Covid-19 disease.
