Less than one hundred days until the doors swing open, it feels an appropriate time to discuss the inaugural Defected Ibiza Festival. This week, a vast spread of artists have been announced from Defected's roster and further afield.
On top of this, four of the five locations have been revealed.
First, let's take a look at the artists involved. Names from the top rung of talent include famed duo Basement Jaxx, Masters At Work's Louie Vega, SNATCH! Records boss Riva Starr and party regulars last year, Gorgon City.
Some of the more intriguing bookings see Lovebirds, Dirty Channels, island veteran DJ Pippi and Chicago house legend Mike Dunn all participate.
The line-up also includes Glitterbox favourites Dimitri From Paris, Horse Meat Disco, Luke Solomon and Melvo Baptiste.
Defected mainstays including boss Simon Dunmore, leading lady Sam Divine and the prolific Purple Disco Machine are naturally involved. We wouldn't have it any other way.
Other confirmed acts are formed of Mambo Brothers, The Shapeshifters, David Penn and Joys-creator Roberto Surace.
Festivities begin at stunning hillside Cova Santa on Thursday 14 May. The evening party takes place 18:00-00:00.
The nighttime programme starts on Friday. The event at Eden will also serve as Defected's seasonal opening party. Head here to select from all dates, including the 15 May.
Saturday night sees a change of scenery, as we head next to HEART Ibiza for a Classic takeover on 16 May.
Finally, Glitterbox gets its chance to shimmer. The disco odyssey begins its 2020 Hï Ibiza campaign on Sunday 17 May - the final party of Defected Ibiza Festival.
Pre-parties will take place before the main event on both Friday and Sunday at Defected's regular haunt on the Sunset Strip, Café Mambo. Only the Saturday daytime beach party location is yet to be announced.
From house to disco and everything that falls between those two points, Defected Ibiza Festival's line-up is the true embodiment of feel good dance music.
Additionally, Defected has also released an extensive list of names joining its weekly residency this summer.
Stay tuned for further information coming soon. All updates will be published on our newsfeed and party calendar once confirmed.
