Early 2020 foodie heaven in Ibiza Town

Two delicious events to spice up your life.

Ibiza Town welcomes back its annual foodie event, Patrimoni Gastronòmic, running all the way to 29 March 2020 at 11 participating restaurants in the locality.

Tapas fans might like to try January's Tuesday night event, Tapas al Barri, with eight establishments offering tapas and a beer for just €3.50.

Patrimoni Gatronòmic is now in its ninth year and is already underway, meaning you can dig into these special three-course menus. Each venue celebrates cuisines of places awarded World Heritage status by UNESCO.

Restaurants taking part include La Cava, Ebusus CBbC, El Hotel de Pacha and the long-established C'an Alfredo.

Tapas al Barri has just two dates left: today and on the 28th, so time is short. Check out Re.Art, one of the participating restaurants and a favourite of ours. Here tradition fuses elegantly with the modern.

You can taste the delights of worldwide locations that this year include Ibiza, Mexico City, Israel, Spain, Peru and Vietnam as well as that of Ibiza's Balearic neighbour Mallorca.

Almost half of the Patrimoni Gastronòmic eateries will be showcasing local Ibizan food, making this a great opportunity to discover the flavours and dishes of White Isle cuisine.

Try island products such as spicy sobrasada sausage, free-range Ibizan chicken, almonds and lamb with yummy desserts like greixonera bread pudding. Hyperlocal is the watchword.

These themed set menus cost just €20 ahead with a starter, main course and dessert.

Check out the downloadable brochure to see which nights each restaurant is offering these seasonal feasts.

With these great foodie events, you can keep those bellies happy so check them out now.
