Wave after wave of closing party announcements are set to crash now - and Amnesia is the latest island venue to release details. We've known for some time already, that the San Rafael club is due to close on Saturday 5 October. Now we know the first names.
Siberian techno queen Nina Kraviz will be bringing her feisty, quirky and brutal brand of DJing to the closing. There is something we find incredibly appealing about her presence in Amnesia's club room - where she'll again play. We get a taster tonight for her headline slot at Cocoon.
Confirmed to be joining her are two more scene heavyweights; Luciano and Ricardo Villalobos who are no strangers to Amnesia's terrace. Both acts have made the dance floor their own, with some truly memorable performances down the years - including this summer.
The Chilean DJs will play one of their fabled back-to-backs at the closing. Ibiza 2019 has already witnessed such a treat - at the Who Cares? Pyramid takeover at Cova Santa back in mid-August.
The duo always reserves these special sets for big occasions, such as Love Family Park, Time Warp and now Amnesia closing.
Amnesia's 2019 closing party is set to go down in history. Only three names announced so far, but we're sure we'll learn about more juicy details soon.
