DJ Awards announces post ceremony party line-up

High-heels, cocktail dresses, acceptance speeches and dancing on 16 September.

Roll out the red carpet, it's that time of year again. We're just five days away from the annual DJ Awards. The 22nd installment of dance music's version of the Oscars, takes place on Monday 16 September.

In 2019, the gongs will again be presented at HEART Ibiza. The high-end dining, cabaret and clubbing destination being the ideal location for such an event.

Presented by Graham Sahara and Jaguar, 24 categories will honour a selection of 120 DJs nominated. This year's theme is Plastic No More - underlining both the industry's and Ibiza's commitment to eco-conscious change.

Whether you want to attend purely the awards ceremony, the party afterwards or both - here is your opportunity to rub shoulders with the winners and nominees.

Tickets give access to HEART from 23:00 for the handing of awards. José Corraliza - HEART's director - had this to say about the approaching night:

For the second year running, we host the DJ Awards ceremony - the most emblematic in electronic music. This year, we intend on making the party and the gala that precedes it, even more special than the one last year.”

After the glitzy bash the celebrations continue, as we hit the HEART dance floor to remind us why we love this industry and do what we do. Several of the nominees will be spinning.

First act confirmed to be playing is widely acclaimed Drift-producer and David Guetta's mate, Agoria. He's joined by Butch. The German DJ is one of the most fascinating characters on the scene, with his kooky and irreverent personality transcending the music.

Argentina won Best Dance Nation in 2018 - collected by Hernán Cattáneo

Lastly, Hernán Cattáneo returns to the DJ Awards. 2018's recipient of Best Progressive House DJ also collected the award for Best Dance Nation on behalf of Argentina.

Hernán's Ibiza appearances are limited, but he always makes up for that with stand-out sets.

Alongside longtime collaborator Nick Warren, the pair launched the 2019 DJ Awards with a stunning back-to-back sunset gig at Café del Mar in July. As passionate now and he's always been, it is general consensus that Hernán is one of the most likeable guys in the industry.

Plainly, the DJ Awards 2019 is an event not to be missed for professionals and electronic music fans alike. A real coming together to acknowledge the achievements and the very best elements of the industry.
