A wild time scheduled for Zoo Project at Benimussa Park

One of the best line-ups of the programme on Sunday 1 September.

If you go down to the zoo today...

There's a reason why the Zoo Project has remained Benimussa Park's flagship night for as long as it has. Not only does the theme align with the individuality of the quirky venue, but the premise appeals to both underground heads and scene newcomers alike.

It's not only the setting and atmosphere, but the party's immaculate booking policy deserves credit also.

Whether it's performers dressed-up in animal costumes interacting with the crowd or a crate digger spinning dusty records, Zoo Project has something for everybody. With only six more Sundays worth of parties this summer, the Zoo Project has reserved one of the best until now.

Here's why you should venture into the wild this coming Sunday 1 September.

Female force of nature

All eyes will be on the Tree House stage on Sunday, as a strong female contingent prepare to take over the decks.

With her roots firmly grounded in Ibiza's clubbing history, there's no doubt that islander Clara Da Costa always brings a roaring energy to any dance floor. This Sunday at Zoo Project will no exception. In 2018, Clara was the deserving recipient of the Ibiza DJ category at the DJ Awards.

Her early years here on the island means she has adopted an authentic Ibiza influence in her sound. Over a decade later, she is now very much assimilated into the island's party scene. Hosting her own Jack's House show on Ibiza Global Radio, means she is actively shaping trends here.

Spinning stripped-back house tracks with a groovy twist. Her selections are often reminiscent of throwback beats kicking around in the early 1990s. This will surely go down a treat with the wild Zoo Project ravers.

Bringing the suave, metropolitan underground sound of London to the White Isle this Sunday is DJ duo, Maze & Masters. Fresh from delighting crowds at London's elrow Town festival, they return to Ibiza having already worked wonders at Pikes earlier this summer.

Their broad-ranging sets have taken them across the globe distributing dirty, funky beats to cosmopolitan party-goers worldwide. Effortlessly fusing modern and retro, house and techno into one bellowing dance music signature.

Headliner Nakadia is no stranger to Zoo Project. The Thai-born, Berlin-based DJ/producer returns to Benimussa Park, promising to unload more rapturous techno.

Energy explodes from Nakadia's sets, suggesting her profession of choice was a natural calling. Raw, hard techno dominates her performance, but she's not afraid to dabble with more melodic music.

Last time, we caught her buried deep in the underground bunker of the Rabbit Hole. This coming Sunday, we get to experience her alfresco.

Matthias tanzmann swings by

Across the concourse in the seal pit, things are looking equally juicy. The Zoo Project family invites Matthias Tanzmann to walk on the wild side for the first time. The Moon Harbour boss is having quite the summer in Ibiza 2019. The German made his long-overdue Cocoon Ibiza debut, while he has continued to entertain underground audiences during regular appearances at DC-10.

We're certainly looking forward to catching him play at Benimussa Park's unique outdoor setting, in its most spectacular music arena.

In addition to the above, Discotech look after business in the rabbit hole from 23:00, while G 13 take care of the living room.
