Hï reveals names joining Black Coffee

Saturday nights in Playa d'en Bossa.

Past years were a vacuum for underground party options on Saturday night. Fortunately, and ruling incumbent Black Coffee have been bucking that trend since 2017. That fruitful partnership continues this summer with Africa's music ambassador refusing to let expectations dip.

Opening parties don't come much bigger than Black Coffee and Guy Gerber. The third instalment of the Saturday night residency starts on Saturday 25 May.

Keinemusik's productions have been a staple of Black Coffee's residency the last two years. Therefore justifiably, the label's architects all make appearances in 2019. Rampa is the first on 1 June. &Me follows a week later on 8 June and again on 6 July. Adam Port's date is 13 July.

Other picks throughout June, include Kölsch's invite on 22 June, followed by SAGA residents Bedouin the Saturday after. Matthias Meyer is another interesting booking in June, with Josh Butler and Argy involved too.

In July, the big guests are the cloaked one Damian Lazarus on 20 July and the Black Madonna on 27 July. Both acts returning after guesting last summer. FUSE's Enzo Siragusa, Secondcity and Lauren Lane are three more additions.

Hitting the heat of peak season, Black Coffee presents a giant guest each week in August. From start to finish, you can catch Blond:ish, Loco Dice, Red Axes and DJ Tennis in the Theatre. Meanwhile, Andhim, Hector and Andrea Oliva also play.

Come September, the season will be in freeflow. Jamie Jones is the marquee act joining Black Coffee on 7 September, with Damian Lazarus back on 14 September. Frequent Black Coffee collaborator Virgil Abloh is confirmed for 21 September.

The closing party is in the calendar for 5 October, but fans will need to wait a little longer until Black Coffee's plans are disclosed for the send-off.

Always keen to explore new territory, a few of our favourite less obvious bookings are Watergate resident Jimi Jules (6 July), William Djoko (10 August) and Bradley Zero (7 September). Nastia's return on 15 June is another example of a bold piece of programming.

True to form, Da Capo, Culoe du Song and Black Motion are frequently present, whilst Themba and Salomé can be found multiple times. Serge Devant (quince), Audiofly (thrice) and Guy Mantzur (twice) indicate the calibre of support acts is exceptional.

In case you need reminding, it's always worth taking into consideration that ANTS takes place right across the road. Presenting the perfect opportunity for a pre-party, the double-header ticks the box for day-to-night clubbing.
