Amnesia Presents & Do Not Sleep opening switches venue

The party moves from Amnesia to Cova Santa.

Keen to keep us on our toes, Amnesia has announced a change to its schedule. The Amnesia Presents Do Not Sleep opening party on Friday 17 May will now take place at sister venue, Cova Santa.

Set in the picturesque hills of San José, Amnesia's restaurant and daytime location is an often overlooked gem. If you've never visited, this is the perfect opportunity to dip your toes in.

One of the benefits of moving to Cova Santa is that it allows for both day and night clubbing at a single location - an increasingly rare option. Outdoor and under the stars until midnight and then buried inside the hillside cave thereafter, this is a unique Ibiza experience.

Whilst we understand that those who have made plans wanted to be dancing in Amnesia, the powers that be have offered a fluffer. As compensation, a blockbuster addition has been added to the line-up.

Ilario Alicante - a firm Amnesia favourite for many years - makes his Cova Santa debut.

Arguably techno's man of the moment, the Italian will again play all over the island in 2019. Long term admirers ourselves, we're thrilled that he starts his Ibiza season early with this previously unannounced gig.

Darius Syrossian back-to-back with Sidney Charles, Frank Storm, Seb Zito, Ronnie Spiteri, Hector, Neverdogs, Technasia and Iban Medonza will all be appearing, as initially planned.

A spokesperson for the party said, “Last summer we found our perfect home in Amnesia's Club Room and there was no way that we could settle for anything less this year. Cova Santa is Ibiza's best outdoor venue, so we're delighted to be holding our opening party there.”

All subsequent dates of Amnesia Presents, including the confirmed Do Not Sleep shows from 24 May to 14 June, will take place at Amnesia as advertised.
