ABODE returns with phase one

Thursday nights at Amnesia will never be the same.

Now going at it alone on Thursday nights at Amnesia, ABODE has called upon an exotic blend of scene heroes and in-house talent for its 2019 campaign. Keen to build on a sizeable fanbase, the UK party favourite has signalled its intent with an impressive phase one.

Evidently, the big link-up for ABODE this summer is with Big Al' Fitzpatrick. The We Are The Brave stalwart is confirmed for five dates, including the opening party on 6 June. No complaints from us, seeing Fitzpatrick in command of the Terrace is a joy to behold.

The remainder of June sees some high-profile guests play. Yousef, Richy Ahmed and East End Dubs amongst the pick of the bunch. Perhaps most notable will be Radio 1's Danny Howard (20 June) and Skream a week later.

Moving into its second month and starting with a bang, ABODE light fireworks on 4 July. A star-studded line-up sees Steve Lawler, Franky Rizardo and Max Chapman share the bill.

Arguably the biggest booking throughout July is Gorgon City, who headline on 18 July. Santé and Amine Edge & DANCE also return to the party where they both played last year.

After a storming debut for the party last summer and a follow-up appearance in the UK, house titan Erick Morillo is back in 2019. Catch him alongside Cassy on 1 August.

Heidi, Secondcity, Mambo Brothers and Detlef are four more big-hitters arriving later in August. However, we're most excited about the Ibiza debut of DJ EZ's house and techno alias Elvin Zedo at the end of the month.

Heading into closing party season, September sees Argentine maestro Guti performing live and an appearance from Feel My Needs producer, Weiss.

Still surprising us with some inspired bookings, September is reserved for headline shows for a pair of house legends. American icons MK and Kerri Chandler play on 12 September and the closing party respectfully.

ABODE has always kept things close-knit, so it goes without saying that its residents Artikal, Ellie Cocks, GW Harrison and Will Taylor can be found multiples times across the 17-week run.

Newcomers Mason Collective and George Smeddles also pop up, as well as Amnesia residents Mar-T, Hector Couto and Cuartero.

Two dates remain outstanding. 11 July and 19 September will be revealed in phase two.

Judging by the names in phase one, we can assume that ABODE will continue to set the bar high.
