Showing real finesse when it comes to underground electronic music, Dixon has already proven that his new Transmoderna project is of the highest standard. The line-ups for the Pacha based residency's debut season contain extraordinary talent over the course of 20 weeks. Bravo.
Straight from the opening on 24 May, Innervisions cohorts Âme and Trikk join Dixon to shake Pacha dance floor. Fresh faces Pvblic Xcess will take over room two with dual efficiency.
A week later, the sound of Diynamic enters Transmoderna with fellow Pacha royalty Solomun stepping up to the stage. Parisian H A ï K U events head, Na'Sayah also makes his first appearance for the season.
June is equally as appetising when it comes to line ups. Gerd Janson, Echonomist, &ME and more feature in this month. On Friday 14, Frank Wiedemann - one half of Âme - plays an exclusive live set. Label collaborators Marcus Worgull and Kevin Di Serna also drop in to showcase their skills.
During the high season, Transmoderna shows no sign of slowing pace. Italian melodic techno masters Tale Of Us bring the sound of the Afterlife label on 12 July. Modulator and live set wizard KiNK plays on the 19th alongside Brazilian born DJ, Terr.
Other underground names like Daniel Avery, Roi Perez and Virgil Abloh feature slap bang in the swing of the summer.
August is also delightfully full of major players and rising stars. Henrik Schwarz and SRVD will both play live, creating original and inspiring sounds through both their sets. Job Jobse, Roisin Murphy, Call Super, Jimi Jules and many others feature across this hotly anticipated middle season waypoint.
The one and only back to back session occurs on 23 August with Dixon uniting with Âme for an evening of electronic splendour. Definitely mark this one in your clubbing diary.
As the summer cools down a tad, at Transmoderna night only getting hotter in September. Appearances from DJ Koze, Honey Dijon, Mano Le Tough and more add fuel to the party's fire.
It all comes to a magnificent climax on 4 October when the event series closes, leaving 20 weeks of madness behind it. Perfectly fitting, Dixon plays all night long at this grand closing, for that will be a clubbing marathon of behemoth proportions.
