We give you a round-up of restaurants offering some amazing fresh and indulgent cuisine for the festive season. .

Christmas does come but once a year and if you are away enjoying it on Ibiza, it's likely that you'll want a big seasonal feed without having to cook. When on holiday, it's time to seek out dining outlets that allow you to indulge and celebrate. Does that sound like (Christmas) music to your ears?

Cas Costas

Playa d'en Bossa

A rocking five-course menu could be yours for New Year's Eve at Cas Costas, with a smorgasbord of fresh produce from Iberian cold cuts to scallops with truffled potatoes to roast kid plus a menu for vegetarians. The menu is a paean to modern indulgence. Throughout December, you can also pick one of three differently-priced events' menus. There's just is no excuse to go to this cosy restaurant, sit by the fire and dream of a white Christmas, knowing in fact you can spend it on the beach.


El Naranjo

Santa Eulalia

Art and food come together at El Naranjo, a place that's set in an old Ibizan country-style house and is perfect for romantics and food lovers alike. This lovely art-filled restaurant is offering tasty Mediterranean Christmas cuisine available throughout December and of course on Christmas Eve. A feast of fresh scallops, tuna, homemade pate plus the freshest of meat, fish and game should be enough to tempt you. There's even a wine allowance and water included in the price of this banquet. What's not to like?


Bali Beach

Playa d'en Bossa

Count on three special menus for Christmas and the New Year from the beachside idyll that is Bali Beach. Christmas Day at midday with poussin and cherries, hake Basque style or skirt steak. New Year's Eve has a night time offering including papardelle with fresh Ibizan lobster, fillet steak and wild sea bass, all washed down with Cava and wine. A lovely fresh New Year's Day menu is also on offer. Mmm.



Hana Restaurant

Ibiza Town

Japanese, Ibizan and Med dishes with an overlay of Hawaii are fused together to create the menu at chic restaurant Hana. Try its special Christmas menu available all the way through to 22 December and then on the 31st, try the New Year Great Gatsby themed menu to bring in 2019. Oysters with strawberry vinegar gets things kicked off, several fish courses with scallops and turbot, meat and some luxury Christmas desserts. Get in!


Nagai

San Lorenzo

A Christmas menu from Nagai, the venue that fuses Japanese food with flavours of Italy and Thailand. It's open for business on 24 December with three menus: one for meat lovers, one for seafood fans and a vegetarian one. Each one has four courses so whether it's crispy pork, grilled sea bass or veggie okonomiyaki you desire, the choice is yours. All this in the lovely artistic setting that is the celebrated restaurant. I'll have all three menus please.


Finca La Plaza

Santa Gertrudis

Local fresh and seasonal Mediterranean food is the hallmark of the Finca La Plaza restaurant, which comes replete with its own “secret” garden filled with citrus trees and aromatic herbs. Christmas Day menus with local chicken and chestnuts, oysters and lobster and vegetarian options and a five-course New Year's Eve dinner is all as as divine as any celestial figure.


Chiringuito Blue

Santa Eulalia

Right next to the beach is the delightful Chringuito Blue serving a sparklingly fresh Mediterranean menu, with excellent fish dishes, succulent Galician beef, some fabulous sharing platters and an excellent wine list. They even provide freshly-baked bread that's gluten-free. Open daily from midday to 19:00, make this one a long lazy festive lunch.
