Best tunes from Heart Factory at HEART Ibiza

The Moon Harbour showcase for this special edition of Heart Factory HEART brought in some fine talent.

We are in the middle of the low season, so it is time to relax, enjoy the simple pleasures of life and be calm, right? Wrong. It is time to go clubbing. How could we have stayed home on a Wednesday night in December with a line-up of the magnitude of the Moon Harbour showcase at HEART Ibiza for a special edition of Heart Factory? It was party time indeed.

The hip Marina Botafoch club opened its doors for this special showcase with a fine collection of artists: Timo Maas, Matthias Tanzmann, Sven Tasnadi and Defex creator and resident DJ of The Zoo Project were all on the decks.

This underground and creative group of artists is well-loved both internationally and here on Ibiza in particular, perfect for the ultimate music lover. The appeal of the night worked its magic. When arrived, the place was rammed with clubbers. The night was more casual than usual at the elegant venue.

The atmosphere was nonetheless charged and very energetic. A friend gave me the perfect answer for it: “People want to dance, man!” And dancing we did, giving everything we had, showing once again that this island is populated by music lovers year-round.

When we entered, Timo Maas was in the booth. The artistic visuals on the walls were massive as always and everyone was thrilled to be in the right place at the right time.

If you weren't there, worry not. We are here to give you a taste of what it sounded like. Put your headphones on and pump up the volume.

Frivolous | For the Management

Welcoming us into the club, this track truly describes the sound of Timo Maas: deep tech with elegant melodic elements. Created by Canadian composer Frivolous, this track is a gem that got us started on the right foot.

Dario D'Attis & Definition featuring Jinadu | Dreamcatcher

Timo kept warming up the crowd with this great tune, a summer hit full of passion and groovy minimal bass line. The adrenaline started to flow in our veins, and we were catching some serious dance floor fever.

Rebuke | Along Came Polly

This amazing underground track set a new tone of the night. Engaging minimal sounds on a powerful bass line, it leans towards techno sound.

Eli & Fur & Harry Romero | Be Somebody

Edgy house music with a pumping bass from this collaboration of the rising British duo Eli & Fur with house legend Harry Romero. We were in full power mode now, jumping on the clubbing train.

After Timo's amazing session, it was time for Matthias Tanzmann to keep the party going. Another hero of the Ibiza underground dance floors, this guy needs no introduction.

Accelerating and exhilarating, his bouncy deep tech and techno sound went on like a mill, transporting the dancing crowd.

Shame Cube - Sian

This one is a proper banger - trippy with space effects and a solid pure techno hammer bass line. We were raving all right.

Catz N Dogz and Joseph Ashworth | Factory Setting

From Poland with love, the great duo did it again. This track is characterized by over-the-top sounds and effects. With that rubbery jumping bass, it's fun and tough at the same time. We loved it.

Bas Ibellini | That's Right

This excellent funky house tune added some lightness to Tanzmann's set, slowing down the rhythm on the floor.

wAFF | Space

A psychedelic house tune with a classic bass line, this track transcends definition. With some crazy loops, it will no doubt leave you wondering.

Whilst we were still wondering about and savouring the set from the German juggernaut, it was time for the last artist of the night Sven Tasnadi. The DJ from Leipzig has just released a new LP last month for Moon Harbour and it was time for him to shine on the decks.

Several Definitions | Time

Here's a fine trip with a more progressive sound that helped us enter the last stage of our night.

Michael Cleis | Mir a Nero

This 2012 classic that takes us in the completely different direction of Latin house.

It was time for the curtains to come down after a wondrous night. Once again at HEART, the music still matters. Missed it? That's all right. On 21 December, HEART will once again explode with another brilliant edition of Heart Factory.

The line-up for Heart Factory presents MUSE is jaw-dropping with Lehar b2b Musumeci, Adam Port and Phunkadelica on the decks. This one is for all lovers of progressive and electric house. These guys know what creativity is, breaking boundaries between music styles. They will have us sailing through the immensity of the electronic music universe.

For all the dreamers on the island on Friday 21 December, this one is for you. The intergalactic trip starts at 23:00. You will want to be there.
