Trio of season closings confirmed in Playa d'en Bossa

The end is nigh for these three popular hangouts as we prepare to say farewell to summer.

As we find ourselves in the thick of October, the Nassau Group has released details for its three venues' season closing parties. Nassau Beach Club, Dunes and Tanit Beach Ibiza all sign-off for tourist season later this month. Summer may be slipping away, but there's still time to party.

Playa d'en Bossa rightfully feels like the epicentre of all lively activity in Ibiza. With the island's longest stretch of sand, an array of late-night bars, lots of restaurants and those three super-venues, there's certainly always a lot going on. Eat, drink, dance or a combination of all three.

That is, until businesses gradually shut up shop one-by-one to take a long-deserved winter break. Although it has already started to quieten, there's still plenty going on for the foreseeable. Here are three summer closings you don't want to miss in the remainder of October.

nassau beach club

Next door, neighbouring sister venue Nassau Beach Club waves goodbye to summer with its own Season Closing a couple of weeks later on Saturday 27 October. A selection of more than qualified spinners will take you through from 13:00 to late.

DJs on show include Abel Pons, David Crops, Miguel Garji and Tom Pool. With the venue promising shows and surprises to boot, this is definitely a celebration not to be missed.

Much like Tanit Beach Ibiza, this represents the ideal opportunity to sample its ambitious molecular gastronomy menu, if you haven't already.

Although this event concludes Nassau Beach Club's summer calendar, it continues to remain open into Autumn and all the way to January. With the restaurant launching its €25 menu del dia and weekend winter a la carte menu, you've got an extra incentive to taste its wonderous delights.

TANIT BEACH IBIZA

Playa d'en Bossa's Tanit Beach Ibiza holds its Season Closing on Sunday 14 October. Resident DJ Abel is joined by island favourites Melon Bomb for what is set to be a riotous closing affair beachside. There's also the promise of surprise guests stopping-by.

Few party collectives can claim to evoke the true spirit of Balearic Beat in the modern day better than the Melon Bomb gang. Consisting of islanders Paul Reynolds, Ben Santiago, Corbi and Scott Gray, the foursome return to the scene of their much-hyped Easter party.

The action starts at 13:00 and we suspect it will continue all through the afternoon, evening and close to midnight in true Melon Bomb style. Why not combine your visit with a meal, to give your dancing feet some much needed fuel?

dunes

Earlier in the month, Abel Pons and David Crops are two of the talents you can find shutting down Dunes. Alongside Alex Kentucky and Andres Labs, the expert jockeys will give the Playa d'en Bossa hangout a send-off to remember on Saturday 13 October.

We're sure you're familiar with Dunes by now, but if for whatever reason you're not - you can hardly miss it! It's the expansive bar in the middle of the main strip, with cargo netting and various seating areas, making both ideal for a dance or a chill-out.

Upstairs, the venue has its own designated club space - where we're sure the party will continue long after the music has faded out downstairs.

Three parties across three weekends - and all of them unmissable if you're on the island.

These smaller closings might not attract the thousands of revellers like that of the super-club's, but these parties are some of the best of the year as workers and islanders get to cut loose one last time. The fact they are free is just the silver-lining. Magical atmosphere guaranteed.

Join us at one or more of these parties, and let's dance like summer lasts forever. See you on the dance floor.
