As you ascend the main rampart of Ibiza Town's walled citadel Dalt Vila from the market square, you'll see a wealth of restaurants on the street when you walk in. Keep going up and around and you will come to the lovely viewpoint of Plaza del Sol.
At this point if you want a quick snack, you might want to stop at the charming little cafe Can Raio that's like an old-world Mediterranean village outpost. Whilst a little more modern these days, the elderly lady who tends the place continues on.
It's a lovely place to stop for a cold or toasted sandwich at quite reasonable prices. There's also a lovely, narrow terrace in front to sit and watch the passers by from and have a drink. A real gem of a find.
