Summer on Ibiza in 21 pictures

Staff photographer selects his favourite photographs of the 2018 season on the island.

The year always seems to go by so quickly when you live on Ibiza. The winter months build a sense of anticipation and excitement as promoters reveal club plans for the season. Springtime goes by in a flash with island dwellers enjoying the White Isle blooming and the first beach days.

When the season starts, the opening weeks usher in an exciting whirlwind of parties, each one more special than the last. As the heat rises, we reach the peak of the summer. Sun-kissed days are filled with island excursions while nights are spent in serious grooving on the dance floor.

Then September and October supply a string of closing extravaganzas, each more incredible than the previous. A full season happens in the blink of an eye, yet some moments stand out as particularly special.

As Ibiza Spotlight's photographer, I am very lucky to be able to capture these moments throughout the year. Here is a selection of snaps that made the Ibiza 2018 season for me.

We can all safely say that it has been another tremendous season in 2018 on Ibiza. We all have our own special memories from this past summer on the island. No matter what, it still remains one of the most uniquely beautiful and magical places to visit in the world.

From a photographer's perspective, I cannot wait to see what 2019 holds and what special moments will reveal themselves ready to be captured.
