10 tracks that smashed Eric Prydz closing

After 12 epic events, we danced for a final time at the Eric Prydz residency at Hï Ibiza.

A euphoric extravaganza, the final Eric Prydz date reminded us why the closing parties in Ibiza are so special. This past Tuesday saw a climatic end to the Swedish DJ and producer's legendary 12-date venture. With Hï Ibiza once again as the perfect home to his second season, he has continued to amaze huge audiences with his unbelievable music and production.

For their first ever Ibiza residency, Solardo took over the Club Room this season - and boy did they smash it. Providing some of the biggest tracks of the summer and unforgettable seasonal highlights, the wacky duo continued to go from strength to strength. On this fantastic final evening, their enthusiasm was just as infectious as ever.

The highly anticipated special guest saw none other than Adam Beyer surprise the crowd. Wow – what a night we had in store.

A phenomenal selection of tunes thumped through the sound system from start to finish. This party had it all. Here are 10 of the finest tracks from the evening.

EVERY DAY | ERIC PRYDZ

No words can do the almighty production justice. Heartbroken for the people who missed this moment, we made sure to capture this exciting tune from start to finish. Goosebumps tickle up and down my arms every time I watch this. Wow - this is what Ibiza clubbing is all about.

BREATHE | CRISTOPH & CAMELPHAT

Cristoph set the pace nice and early. The big man has been a revelation as a weekly resident in the early slot - so much so that should he be back he is surely deserving of a more prominent role next year.

Again, he worked the dance floor with his hypnotic, forthcoming collaboration with CamelPhat, Breathe - much like he has done all summer. This track may cause a sensation when its released - please hurry guys!

AMONGST THE GODS | DUSKY

As if we couldn't get enough of the Swedish techno master, Adam Beyer completed the line-up dropping bombshells like the first single off of Dusky's new EP: Amongst the Gods. Its ethereal grooves and breakbeat house rhythms made for an electric vibe in the theatre.

SASSY | IGLESIAS

As we made our way through the lively crowd we knew Solardo were taking charge with groovy sounds recognisable of their feel-good take on house music. Loud shirts and branded snap-caps, the pair were bopping with us to this RAW Solid Grooves dance floor cut from Inglesias.

GENERATE | ERIC PRYDZ

Smoke cannons, confetti and dozens of deep red strobe lights hovered above as Eric Prydz played some of his most loved signature tunes. The songs all operate under Prydz's adept vision of taking the listener on a musical journey and Generate did just that more - complete euphoria.

PLACEBO | PETE TONG & JOHN MONKMAN

This collaborative tune by Pete Tong and John Monkman nicely moulds together current underground trance and melodic techno with a driving bassline. Pumping hard in the Theatre, Adam Beyer knows this brand new tune has all the ingredients of an Eric Prydz residency banger.

REBEL XX | PRYDA

Prime for peak hour amp, Rebel XX beefed up the atmosphere even more. With heavy builds and rhythmic breakdowns, the hard-hitting melody had us dancing even wilder - Prydz knows how to make us sweat.

SOUND OF THE BETTEST | RIVA STARR & TIGER STRIPES

The energy was high as Sound of the Bettest echoed the club room. Solardo has an undeniable knack for crafting grooving, infectious club anthems - and that's exactly what was on the menu for the next few hours.

INDICA | OC & VERDE

This dance floor smash has gained heavyweight support from Adam Beyer as this hallucinogenic track took us to another dimension with flashing strobe lights and soulful afrobeat vocals anticipating the almighty techno drop - epic.

THE END | PRYDA

Complete with uplifting build-ups and the unforgettable Pryda snares, the final track of the evening from Eric Prydz, The End was just the beginning, rounding the mesmerising night off with a strong space-age groove. The symbolic track marked the end of a truly unforgetable residency.

As the lights turned on, the crowd errupted with a powerful applause. Cheers, screams and claps echoed the glitzy venue of Hï Ibiza. Emotions were running wild with feelings of happiness, euphoria and exhilaration as well as sadness and mournfulness as we say goodbye to Eric Prydz for another year.

Truly spellbinding.
