Best tunes in Ibiza clubs | July/August

Relive some of the top bangers that got us grooving in Ibiza nightclubs this past month.

With the summer season whizzing by faster than ever, we are now already heading full steam into August. The number of tunes setting the dance floor on fire just keep on coming.

Whether you're reminiscing some of your favourite tunes from the dance floor or preparing yourself for the fast-approaching closing parties, treat yourself to a selection of some of our top tracks this month.

Whittling them down to just ten was tricky, but these gems were definitely stand-outs across the island. Have a listen.

Kölsch & Tiga | Hal | elrow at Ushuaïa

This track is sure to be a summer highlight, especially for those lucky ones hearing it live. A great meeting of minds, this collaborative track tickled goosebumps down my arms when Kölsch himself pumped it at another magical elrow voyage at the monstrous Ushuaïa.

Tiga articulates the percussive rhythm that underpins Hal, while from Kölsch's side come those trademark melodic vocal samples and the wide-eyed chord builds. Unite all of these elements and this big-room epic tune has all the makings of a summer smash.

Nasser Baker | Say Something | One Night Stand at Pacha

Released in June, Nasser Baker's Say Something is echoing on the White Isle more and more this summer. Legend headliner Carl Cox pulled this one out the bag during both stellar performances at the incredibly successful Game Over Presents ONE NIGHT STAND dates at Amnesia and Pacha.

This groovy, punchy bassline with no lack of vocals was an unforgettable track, not only because it really got the crowd moving but also because of the incredibly catchy beat unable to leave my head. We say something: awesome!

Fisher | I'm Losing It | ABODE at Amnesia

The newly released Losing It by Fisher must have been played at pretty much every single festival or rave this summer across the globe. After the Australian DJ debuted it at Coachella, this belter has been blasted by numerous DJs of many styles including house, techno and even EDM.

From the likes of David Guetta, Hardwell, Rudimental and Solardo - nothing goes off as hard as the man himself Fisher behind the decks at Amnesia as the ear-rumbling trumpets mark the ultimate fist-pumping drop. This one is a clear crowd-pleaser.

Krystal Klear | Neutron Dance |Cocoon

This distinctive track is perfect towards the end of a set and on loop at every other after-party on the island. Krystal Klear's track Neutron Dance is certain to be one of the most memorable tracks not only of the month but also of the summer.

After hearing the catchy, rhythmic anthem at numerous parties including ANTS and elrow, I would say that the stand-out would still be at Cocoon Daytime. Papa Sven Väth set the open-air dance floor on fire at Destino with this uplifting summer smash hit. All arms were in the air.

Adam Beyer & Bart Skils | Your Mind | ANTS

It would not feel right if Andrea Oliva didn't drop Your Mind by Adam Beyer at ANTS every other Saturday evening. While the track began as a tool, the reactions were so consequential that lucky for techno lovers it became a full track.

With stirring vocals, percussion, snares and a rolling acid line, this beat is one of the most powerful techno weapons of the summer and always gets a thundering reception.

Solardo | Be Somebody| Eric Prydz

"Everybody wants to Be Somebody"... and everybody needs to hear this tune! Dance music's high flying duo is back and can seemingly do no wrong at the moment. The two keep hitting us with more thick slices of tech house heaven.

We hope that these boys will be back for another residency with Eric Prydz at Hï Ibiza next year, too, as the Club Room continues to go OFF.

Denis Sulta | It's Only Real | Radio 1 Extra's Big Weekend

On one of the busiest and hottest weekends of the year, who better to heat things up even more than English DJ and producer Denis Sulta with his euphoric tune It's Only Real.

Jumping on the decks at Café Mambo on the Friday of Radio 1 Extra Weekend, he dropped this electronic anthem. Captivating from the opening notes, the tune has a sleek, subtly groggy tech-house beat effortlessly driven by gliding bass and percussion. While intricately melodic, it still kicks hard in the club.

Maceo Plex | Solar Detroit | Resistance

July saw the highly anticipated RESISTANCE back at Privilege for a techno-throbbing party like no other. Named after his newborn son, Eric Estornel's second album as Maceo Plex Solar reflects the highs and lows of navigating his new fatherhood.

Maceo Plex continues to connect with fans through dub, techno and electronica with breakbeats and melodies sending you to tasty techno heaven. With the astronomical production at Privilege, hearing this track live sends you on the ultimate sonic journey.

Ich Muss Los | Solomun | Solomun +1

Luminary DJ and producer Solomun gives us his first full EP in three years. Here is the third track Ich Muss Loss ('I have to get going' in German). This shady, dark and atmospheric tune was dropped by the man himself at one of Ibiza's most popular parties: Solomon +1 at Pacha.

The beat delivers a compelling and industrial mood, fit for applauded dark early-morning dance floors.

Down | Marian Hill (Franky Rizardo Remix) | Defected

A party sure to have you moving for hours, Defected consistently brings some of the catchiest house tunes to the dance floor. Simon Dunmore always delivers, as with this Franky Rizardo remix of Down by Marian Hill which sent house-heads grooving at Eden.

The beat makes a piano sound incredibly sexy - a superb summer smash. Get shuffling.
