Tuesdays are Rebels Land at Benimussa Park

Find your rebellious streak in the land of the rebels.

Making the transition from night to day, Capadi Rebels moves to Benimussa Park for 2018 with its reimagined party concept Rebels Land. You can release your inner rebel every Tuesday from 19 June to 4 September.

Having started life as a boat party, within eight years the event has morphed into a weekly event with a tribal following.

Invoking the carnal ritual of dance, the Rebels will be recruiting like-minded misfits across 11 crazy weeks. The use of campfires, hieroglyphics and ethnic instruments tap into that primal mindset.

As with its previous incarnations, we can expect Rebels Land to provoke a sense of curiosity amongst attendees. Merging hedonism with an astute underground music policy, the open-air locale promises to take the journey deeper.

Like the island itself, this is a party with a higher consciousness, an understanding of the energy flow and human connection that binds us all.

Last summer it brought a diverse cross-section of DJs and live acts to the residency, including Dosem, Format:B, Anek, East End Dubs and Jan Blomqvist. We are intrigued to see what calibre of artists it will attract with this fresh direction.

Benimussa Park lends itself perfectly to the idea of being an island inhabited by rebellious free-spirits. The reinvented zoo offers endless production opportunities to make this an immersive and memorable clubbing experience.

We will definitely be cutting loose in the thick of the action on Tuesday 19 June. Until then, bottle-up your attitude ready for release at the opening with us and our fellow deviants.

Go on, be a rebel.
