Tomorrowland present Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike take off literally

An unforgettable entrée signals great things for the Garden Of Madness this summer at Ushuaïa.

We are all used to hailing Tomorrowland for their ability to transform spaces into wondrous adult playgrounds. With their illustrious productions and dream-like creations all planted in our minds, the globally renowned brand created something extra special to herald in the Ibiza dates of Tomorrowland presents Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike .

As we congregated in a field in the middle of the island, just near to Santa Gertrudis, I was introduced to the no longer mysterious, Zephyr. If you're curious as to what Zephyr is, I can give you a clue: it's powered by burning fuel and can fly.

Yes, planted somewhere amongst the trees in Ibiza, is Tomorrowland's very own hot, hot air balloon.

Patiently waiting for lift off, we watched as Zephyr's engine finally roared, igniting, even more, anticipation, and soon the 300kg balloon took off as we all waved the masterpiece goodbye.

The best part about this is that anyone can board the balloon either by purchasing tickets or participating in the contest. Tickets for a sunset or sunrise flight for two passengers will be on sale very soon.

If you are on Ibiza this summer and want a chance to win a free flight, keep your eyes open. If you spot the hot air balloon in the sky, take a picture of it and post it with #Zephyr

Zephyr was there to join in the excitement and get the island ready for Tomorrowland's opening Fiesta Garden Of Madness. The action took off yesterday at Ushuaïa as it welcomed the extraordinary electronica.

To step on board Zephyr's first Ibiza journey were Garden of Madness residents Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. The duo has excited the skies, proving ready for the next nine weeks at the luxury Ushuaïa hotel.

Accompanying the sibling duo at the opening yesterday was electro house icon Marshmello, Echo Awards winner Lost Frequencies, EDM favourite MATTN, as well as Nora En Pure and the reputable Ibiza DJ Jose Marie Ramon. The season is littered with such talent. Check below for all details.
