Ibiza is full of beautiful and interesting people here on holiday or for work in the various clubs, bars, restaurants or shops during the season. Each person has a slightly different experience to the next, seeing and enjoying Ibiza from a uniquely personal perspective.
As a journalist, I love talking to people and finding out where they've been, what they've done and what they think about their adventures. So over the space of a week, I went out with my camera, a microphone and a few of my flatmates (kudos for your help amigos!) and we walked the promenades of San Antonio and Playa D'en Bossa, talking to passersby about their best events and wildest (albeit sometimes slightly censored) stories from their time on the paradise isle.

What they said: Our favourite memory from Ibiza was when we went on the pedal boats in San Antonio and whilst out in the sea, some guys on a boat pulled up and gave us lots of alcohol for free! As for events, we both like going to elrow at Amnesia on a Saturday, there's nothing else like it. We really liked when they had all the party games like twister outside the club. One of us tried to play but fell over after the first go! We stole a unicorn and flamingo (called felicity) from the dance floor and took them home. I had to wrestle two girls to get them but it was worth it!

What he said: I'm on holiday here with my wife. We've come for the sun and the beach, also for a bit of peace and quiet, so we don't go to the clubs at all. The sunset strip in San Antonio is a great place to visit if you are a couple out on holiday. My wife and I went to Savannah's there for a sunset meal on the Terrace, great food and views! We're off to explore San Miguel this week as we've heard there are some fantastic seafood restaurants up there.

What they said: So we both work for Ocean beach and our favourite memory of Ibiza so far was the opening party at the venue. It was extremely busy during the day, but so much fun as it was our first week on the island. Last month, though, we went to Glitterbox at Hï, which was amazing. The new venue looks fantastic, all the lights and effects are spectacular and the music at the event was awesome as well, loads of great disco tunes. On our days off we like to go to Cala Tarida and the Cotton Beach Club there, great place to have sushi!

What they said: On Sunday we went to the Foam & Diamonds party with Paris Hilton playing at Amnesia. We ended up damaging our phones, but we had a great time, so it was sort of worth it! We also went to BIG with David Guetta on during the day on Monday. Ushuaïa is a great venue; the fireworks and stunts are great to watch. We also love the pool area and the drinks aren't too expensive either. As a piece of advice for a newcomer to the island, make sure you bring a camera out with you, too. Ibiza is such a great place to get snaps for your Instagram!

What she said: I went to the Children of the 80s party at Hard Rock Hotel with my friends. We're not much into techno or house, so the music at this party was perfect for us, lots of retro hits! The people dressed up in costumes of the era looked great as well. The best beach I have been to is Las Salinas. We had such a good day sunbathing on that side of the island! Our plans for the week are to visit more beaches and make a trip up to Formentera, which is a paradise island off the coast of Ibiza.

What he said: So far, Ushuaïa has been the best place I've visited so far. I went straight from the airport to my hotel then out to Ushuaïa, didn't even look who was on the line-up, then DJ EZ appeared and played an immense set. Tinie Tempah played as well; he was really good! Afterwards, we went to Wild Life at DC10, saw Annie Mac and Disclosure and ended up staying until 6:00 the morning. The next day it felt like we'd partied 26 hours out of 24! What I love about Ibiza is that you can be spontaneous with your night out; you just get chatting to people from all over and you find out where the best parties are that way.

What they said: We both went to Pacha for F*** me I'm Famous, which is David Guetta's night. We were there with some guys and they paid for us to get into the VIP. It was amazing, we were drinking Dom Perignon and we even had a massage in the club -- all for free! We also went to Hï for Eric Prydz on Tuesday. The light show at that event was unreal. They also have a DJ playing in a toilet area called the Wild Room, which is a bit weird at first but cool. The magic garden is so pretty; we just sat there for an hour enjoying the chilled atmosphere. We would say to anyone coming to Ibiza to bring as much money as possible as there's so much to do and see!

What they said: One of the best experiences we've had whilst we've been in Ibiza was a villa party, which was near Es Vedrà. After a night out we were invited there, when we arrived we were amazed to see some famous faces from UK television. The villa itself was amazing: three floors with an infinity pool looking out to the ocean. It was simply incredible just to visit. There were also some gorgeous looking women there, which is always a bonus! The best event we've been to also was Rumors at Destino on a Sunday in June. The open-air venue looked incredible; Sven Väth was there playing some really cool music on vinyl and the best part was it was all for free!

What they said: Well we got here last night and we ended up at some hotel. We're not too sure what happened; our memory is a bit hazy as we had quite a bit to drink, but the police were called, and now we're banned from that hotel! The best event we've been to was Pikes on Friday night. There weren't many people there, but the music was amazing. It was quite an intimate experience. We prefer those kinds of nights to going to the main superclubs; it just feels more like the people are there for the music and have a more enjoying time dancing in places like that.

What he said: I went to Ibiza Rocks Hotel for the We Are Rockstars Pool Party and saw Preditah and Tom Zanetti. I was enjoying soaking up the sun and listening to the garage vibes all afternoon. The pool area was filled with bikini wearing ladies, so of course I jumped straight in! Seeing the artists up close was an experience in itself. I love Preditah's music and Tom Zanetti's mixes, so to watch them play up close was fantastic! On my days off I like to go to Tapas, which is this great restaurant not far from where I work at Linekers. I fully recommend the signature dish, Popeye (beef mince, spinach with parmesan) and marinated chicken skewers. Then if you've got the room for dessert, the cheesecake is delicious!
