Las Dos Lunas back for 2016

35 legendary years.

One of Ibiza's most iconic restaurants reopens for summer 2016 this Thursday 12 May celebrating its 35th year. Las Dos Lunas has seen a cavalcade of famous clients over the years, including celebrities, royalty and many of the famous names and faces that have been long associated with the island. Today the restaurant continues to attract those in the know, attracted by its fine reputation for Italian cuisine and its status as an island legend.

This year, the restaurant ushers in the new season with a new menu concept, entitled “artistic outdoor cuisine” created by Dutch chef Gee Van Donselaar and served in the restaurant's handsome bougainvillea clad outside terrace. This new experiential offering, created for the 35th anniversary, makes the perfect foodie celebratory prelude to an Ibiza night out. The offering uses slow cooking methods and draws out the full flavour of the produce, including the delectable vegetables grown organically in the restaurant's garden.

The restaurant attracts a cosmopolitan crowd, a fine smattering of the jet set and an international community of creative talent. All are drawn to its inimitable atmosphere, fine cuisine, its magical feel and its reputation as being a place for hedonistic fun. Its location, close to some of Ibiza's biggest clubs, Amnesia and Privilege, make it the perfect pre-club spot to get your night started with a bang.

The menu is Italian in essence with a flavour palate inspired by Mediterranean and international cuisine. Here you can enjoy the freshest fish, quality meat, homes made pasta and risotto, plus bread and focaccia are baked daily in their wood oven.

Make your way to Las Dos Lunas for some of the finest food on the island, before heading out to continue your night. It's a must do for anyone who wants to step into an authentic Ibiza experience.
