This unique art collective hosts Luna lena de Arte, an open air exhibition in beautiful Santa Gertrudis.
Ibiza attracts renowned artists from all over the world and is a home to creative talent and unique art. The Art Club Ibiza is a collective of resident visual artists in Ibiza. Their aim? To present events which make their works available to the public on the island and showcase their talent. Simple.
The collective hosts two initiatives, Ruta Del Arte, which is a published artists guide which presents 92 locally based artists. From this directory you can arrange a private visit to the artists studio of your choice for a chance to see art in Ibiza off the beaten track. As well as this the group are hosting public open air exhibitions in the magical setting of Santa Gertrudis church square. On each night of the full moon throughout the summer Luna llena de Art takes place and with two successful exhibitions already under their belt for 2015, the next two are not to be missed.
August's instalment on 28th August kicks off at 7pm and promises works from painters, sculptors and photographers. You can also expect tunes from DJane Tsunami and live graffiti painting. Peruse the art works, listen to some great music and experience live art all before nabbing a drink at one of the village's pretty bars or settling in for dinner at a nearby bistro.
Can't make this one? The event is back 27th September for it's final call of 2015.
