The ever popular village of San Carlos in the north of Ibiza is certainly pulling out all the stops in honour of All Saints' Day and its own Patron Saint's Day, with celebrations this year starting back on 7th October and running right through until 24th November.

Events so far have included football tournaments, mountain biking, a photography course, and various music and games.

All Saints' Day takes place on Friday 1st November, when there will be Solemn Mass of All Saints at 11.00 a.m. in San Carlos's beautiful eighteenth century whitewashed church, and live music in the evening, including a Rolling Stones tribute band.

Sunday 3rd November will see a procession of traditional horse-drawn carts through San Carlos from 13.00 hrs, and from 18.30 hrs students from Eivi-Dance Junior will be performing music, dance and acrobatics in the square in front of the church. The evening ends with live music from the sixties, seventies and eighties, courtesy of Orquesta Migjorn from 21.30 hrs.

The Patron Saint's Day of San Carlos itself is on Monday 4th November, and will start with Midday Mass, followed by traditional Ibiza folk dancing by Ball Pages de Sant Carles de Peralta. The evening's celebrations will start at 19.30 hrs with a magic show, followed by presentation of trophies for winners of all the sporting events taking place throughout the fiesta. Orquesta Paradis will be performing from 21.30 hrs, and a spectacular firework display at 23.30 will round off the Patron Saint's Day of San Carlos in dazzling style!

Yet another great village fiesta...and one definitely not to be missed if you are on Ibiza from this weekend.
